This is the politics section and people are allowed to get rough with each other with moderators providing guidance when people overstep the bounds. Deeper down however there are some very interesting developments. The neo Nazi movement calling itself alt right is a fascinating development. There are at least three trolls espousing their propaganda in RIU, @mynameisnobody , @MadNyeTheHydroGuy , @Illinois Enema Bandit, and @Walterwhiter. I list four because one of them might claim to be otherwise. The movement is a new coalition of thirty-something white supremacists with a modern twist on KKK principles. Trump represents them to a tee. And so, it's interesting to see a new movement get started. The movement is just getting started and will bring forth a new leader soon after Trump goes down in flames. That leader will be representing a class of rural poorly educated white men (mostly) who are giving the last gasp of the idea of a white nation. They are a threat to democracy, so, yes, it is interesting to me.

Hillary Clinton has weathered 25 years of right wing attacks and propaganda. In effect, Trump is the outcome of a political cadre that valued lies, rumor and innuendo over facts and honest political debate. McCain was the last representative of the conservative movement who valued truth over the pap that the right wing uses to manipulate public perception. Yet, Clinton has risen above all that and will soon become the next president, and a the first woman to hold that office in the US.

So, actually, the political forum is just fine. There are a lot of new developments in the US that are reflected here. Too bad for the right wingers who earlier on cried their hearts out over the mods not letting them spew racist lies and shit upon the forum. If they could just keep it civil, they wouldn't get banned. In my own view, I say let them cry. Right wing tears taste delicious.
