Yeah i got an oscillating fan above them but if i turn that on my tent temp goes down quite alot, do yoy think is should have it on?

Do you think it matters if yu have a few diffrent led lights Al at slightly diffrent hight? So basically if 1 log is stronger than the other it could go a little closer to match up with intensity?

for aluminium angle in various sizes and thickness. They do a cutting service for 50p a cut and to save you going through all the check out to find out, delivery is £15. You may find better deals elsewhere, ebay may be better for small sections, not sure.
I'm ordering 10m plus some plate so delivery of £15 aint so bad, might be worth you checking out what you need and seeing if it comes in cheaper.

There is no specific chart for the 3500K CXB3590. The chart you left a link for is the same one that is found in the official CREE CXB3590 pdf file... just without par curve overlay.

To get a general idea of the spectral distribution for 3500K you need look at charts from other COB manufactures.

Hmm..I wonder why Cree didn't put out a chart for the 3500K?
I basically extrapolate the spectral curve by averaging the 3000K and the 4000K to get a ballpark.
I'm pretty much just trying to decide which peaks I might want to supplement my 3500K's with when I get some single diodes.
Definitely thinking 660nm but also possibly some blue peaks (to simulate metal halide) as long as it wouldn't negatively affect yield
I might start a new thread on it for those COB users that are supplementing with single diodes
Was going to throw some UVB in there with an agromax bulb, but I have no clue what the light schedule should be because everyone disagrees and it's hard to find documented grows where people have used em

Also, are these new heat sinks going to replace the current ones in the MOU5 kits?
(most of the black anodized sinks on the cutter site say "out of stock" sooo.....)

Sorry guys, just got back from short vacation, you guys have run me ragged, had to disappear into the top end and chase crocodiles for a week just to relieve the stress:-D
Ok so we have not started shipping yet because we had a short production delay, last ship date given was yesterday but now Im assured factory will ship on the 5th which is Monday so the wait is almost over, my apologies for these delays, but I had to intervene on a couple of occasions to ensure what they are building is to our exact spec.

During this period we have also desiged a mounting bracket to assist with faster completion of kits

This bracket will allow use of the side mount holes and can be reversed allowing nearly 6 inches of Z(up/down) movement on individual heatsinks should you want to move singles cobs due to plant height need, the bracket also comes with the rotation slot allowing individual heatsinks to be angled.The rail mount slots also have 3 inch lateral movement so you can use a 140mm and 110mm heatsink on the same rail structure.The image below shows them mounted on 20mm TSlot and we will have an assembly video out shortly showing the complete assembly process. This does not preclude the use of top mounting as the heatsink has 4 M4 holes for that as well, its just the side holes with this bracket provides some XYZ movement that is sometimes very useful
