How do you deal with the different nutrient demands of each strain? I've got a couple different phenos of the same strain and even that is kind of proving difficult to give each one specifically what they want.

How do you deal with the different nutrient demands of each strain? I've got a couple different phenos of the same strain and even that is kind of proving difficult to give each one specifically what they want.

As of now, everything gets the same food mix unless I see that they need a gross amount more or less. I mix 10 gallons of water up at a time, in 5 gallon water jugs. I've personally not had anything other than a Blueberry strain be super picky on nutes. I also use a super soil, so that maybe is what helps make up for the little differences between strains.

changed the settings up on my camera, after seeing how the last video looked I wasn't happy at all. So here is the veg/re veg update. The next flower update should be this weekend! All the girls are looking amazing, and it looks like only 1 male of the 8! HOLY SHIT!

Just not getting enough light coverage with the 8 bulb t5, debating picking up a Spectrum King Mothers Little Helper LED. I've seen some Youtubers with it, doing quite well... Just not in a 4x4 like I need, or I've missed it. Saves a few bucks a month on the bill, never a bad thing. Current veg shot, had the Co2 for a bit now. It's mostly turning white, just like it's supposed to, probably takes a bit to fully activate and give off more Co2.

hammer.
Are u still debating over getting a SPK mother little helper led?
imho i would throw a 600w in the veg tent & crank them up but u probably
already know that.
Thats the smallest stems ive seen & those T5s dont seem to be cutting the mustard.
Also looking forward to the hydro grows coming up, thx again.

I'm no longer in debate about getting another light for veg, I fully agree that T5, even with good bulbs. Does not cut it! I'm going to be changing some things up speaking of a 600w veg setup. I'll be picking up 2 smaller tents, GGLT 4X4's. Building scrog nets for each, and vegging 4 plants in place, while being vegged under a 600w MH. Then I'll toss the 1k in and flower them, I figure about a month or so veg time with a Co2 bag under the 600. I should be able to flip flop my harvests and have much bigger ones every 2 months.

My Hydro plans have to wait for a while sadly, it probably won't even happen in this grow space to be honest. But it will happen, I just don't know when lol.

So yeah, in the next month or so I'll be getting a MLH to replace the old t5. AND taking the 5x10 down, to put up the 2 4x4's. Should be interesting!

The videos aren't really that much work as of now, as I don't shoot enough footage to be splicing shots in here and there. So essentially I go shoot my clips, plop them together with Sony Vegas, and create the video for Youtube. Takes my pc minimal time to render, it's a custom gaming rig I built. I enjoy the videos so much more, it's much easier to explain whats going on, what I'm doing, etc. Maybe 30 min total to make a video

FROST Giant, more like frosty giant lol. It's not a huge girl, but I've never seen one this frosty this early. Back at day 30 just made my jaw drop.

Busy weekend, built a net and turned on the 600w. Tossed 5 girls under the net, little bit of weaving on 2 of them, the others will stretch into it just fine. I will however shorten it for the next round of plants, as I plan to veg in place. I have another net to build still too.

Also reset the veg tent, transplanted the last of the Frost Giant and Jawa Kush clones that were ready. I also reached out to Spectrum King LED for some help with lighting, still waiting to see how it turns out, but I will be getting a MLH and maybe a flower light from them, 400, 600? idk, we shall see.

Another update, a little over due this time. Day 44 under the 1k.

IT'S HERE!!! the MLH from Spectrum King LED. Shipped Monday, got it today. I've measured and adjusted since the picture.

A few things to note right away.

Build quality, it looks fantastic. Fit and finish all around are superb, plus, it just looks cooler than any other light I've seen.

It radiates heat, and will be hot to the touch. Let's not mistake it for something it's not, it produces much less heat right away than the T5. I've dropped 4+ F with my house wide open on an 80F day. Assuming you don't need to grab the top portion of it for any reason after it's been on, it's just fine.

Hanging. It has 2 options, 2 side mounted hooks, for ratchet hangers, etc. I went this route. Or, you can loosen the bolts to the bracket, and use a hook, or eye bolt combo to use a single hanger for it.

Light, the big one yeah? It initially does not seem as "bright" to my eyes, but I can tell you zipped up in the tent it is very bright indeed. It's powered by a bunch of smaller CREE LED's.

I'd complain it needs a longer power cord if anything, 6ft was not enough to get out of my tent and to the wall socket. 8ft would have been nice, but I moved the tent a bit and managed.

A peek into the Veg tent before my Youtube update tonight. Still waiting on a few clones to root, using all of that 4x4 tent and coverage of the MLH. I'm curious to see how well it does with a handful of different sized plants.
