I know, just stating that going overboard with pollen is where unintentional seeding will occur, but in large part being careless. If your careful the plastic and spraying isn't necessary. And all the water does is keep the pollen from getting airborne
I plant on doing it early in the morning so the fog will wet everything down, but I will put a bag over the part that I want to seed, and in the morning I won't have any wind.

Well weather conditions were perfect this morning. No wind so I decided my plants need to take in so male polen. Got one branch on the gsc and one on the bd. I will try to post pics tonight after I get the new netting on.
I have also decided to buy a greenhouse, only a 10' x 10' which is big enough to go over all three plants should it start to rain at the end of the season. The other up side to me getting a green house is I'm going to try and pull off a second grow this year with like 16 sour diesel clones. As soon as I harvest, the clones will go into 7 gal plastic pots since I have a stack of them hanging around, then they will go into the tent with a little bit of sup lighting to let them veg into the new pots for a week or two.

Well things are looking good, I'm still searching for a bud booster to at to maxsea, and not having one right now is probably hurting my total outcome but I'm still learning. From left to right: Green Kandy, Blue dream, GSC. image.jpegHad to put nets on them because I noticed them start to open up and spread from the weight. GSC filling in a lot:image.jpeg and blue dream has a lot of main colasimage.jpegAnd finally our new guard dog, always on patrol:)image.jpeg

Well my GSC got a heathy flush today. Our current hose has a problem with not shutting off completely so she got a heavy dose of water. My hopes is she doesn't have deficiencies later on.

u adding maxsea bloom now?
I am using maxsea bloom, but that's about it, I need to go out today and look for a bud booster to go with it. I think I need to add a little bit of maxsea grow into the next watering. Because the blue is yellowing a little.

Yes. They still need N in early bloom. Assuming a 9 week flower, I use veg food 1st 3 weeks, 50/50 veg and bloom 2nd 3 weeks, then bloom food last 3 weeks.
Yep thats what i was taught last season...some ppl go 50/50 when u do others go straight to bloom but from 4th or 5th week
Everyone has their preference...calmag is used as well isnt it sometimes ?
Ive got enough maxsea left for maybe one plant in a season coming up . (We dont get maxsea in our country i was lucky enough to have someone send it to me)

I use Epsom salts. I don't have a real cal/mag product. Also use about a tablespoon of brown sugar per plant the first half of bloom.

I was using grow for the first 2 weeks and then went to 50/50 after that. Which has been for 2 weeks, but I was going to stop the grow. After flushing the GSC and blue starting to yellow I'm will run grow for at least one more week.

I think your on the right track they will finish with plenty of green leaf and buds.A few leafs that yellow and fall just give you a bit more air flow.I'm in northern LA county for the last two weeks they have been using quite a bit less water.I bubbled in a bit of blood meal with my tea as a slight N bump. What do you think are we going to harvest by mid October a few weeks early?

I'm trying to do this on the cheap, so I cut corners where I can. Plus I don't have real grow shops around. I use Walmart and Lowe's. Don't want to order online stuff if I can get around it.
my grow is nothing but promix and espoma, you don't need all the expensive stuff. Invest in good soil, not to say you cant yield good results with cheap soil but should add extra perlite. My first grow was all MG soil and nutes in 2 gal pots until August, never seen a plant so rootbound. Upped them to fives and they exploded with growth, got 4-8 oz a piece. That being said, they were also started from seed outside end of May, and basically had to grow back from nothing mid July when deer, or something else tore them to pieces

Well some good news and some bad news, good news is I picked up some high phosphorus bat guano and so liquid kool bloom. Gave them a heaping handful of guano on top of the soil and feed them kool and calmag. But as I was watering I saw the one thing we all fear.... catapillers. So far I found 2 can two branchs with bud rot. Not happy about that at all!

I wouldn't be worried about my soil and nutrients but I'm not to sure about what's really in the soil. My father bought it for like 300$ for 10 yards so it's a bit on the cheap side. We didn't buy it for weed, we bought it just for the regular gardens. Next year I'm buying a soil from a local soil suppier that makes there own soil and compost, they will also give you print outs of exactly what's in the soil. So I will have a much better start next year.

I'm not to sure about harvest times. My GSC should be done early August but my dream may go a lot longer. Hard to say.
