the double dream is SCbluedream x dreamstar
I LOVED the SCBD, and ran it for yrs, (I have lived in sc county for 20+ yrs), but it always had the same issue, damn perfect plant in almost every regard, but it got TALL, the doubledream is almost identical in the smoke, effect, and appearance, except it stays a bit shorter, WAY less stretch at flip, and it flower damn near all the way to the soil, I literally have had plants that have it's main cola with it's "ass in the dirt" as we always called it.
In fact I liked it so much I bumped the SCBD from my lineup, after over a decade of it being there.
Here is the official lineage, cut and pasted, it's 75% bluedream.
Double Dream is a sativa-dominant hybrid of Blue Dream and Dream Star. Blue Dream is one of my favorite strains because it has such a nice blend of effects: soothing, mood-enhancing, physically relaxing, and functional. The influence of Dream Star (itself a hybrid of Blue Dream and Star Dawg, which is a descendent of Chemdawg) adds another layer of potency and complexity, tempering Blue Dream’s floaty clarity with some mellow stoniness. Double Dream has the familiar sweet, floral, berry flavor with a hint of soap that I always get from Blue Dream, but there is some spice and mango in there as well.
The mountain temple is a Bodhi strain.
here is what they say about it. From the lineage the claim it should be an indica leaner, but mine doesn't seem to be, seems to be a tall bitch with WAY more sativa traits than the other Bodhi stuff i've ran, but I'll try anything with that Appalachia male.Willias wonder has always had my curiosity as well.
I got the cut from an acquaintance of mine, so I don't know if he kept the "good" phenos and gave me this one, but it's about a month in, I'm forced to flower outside this year (long story) and with a VERY large illegal grow sorta nearby I gotta do it guerrilla style this season, so my sun exposure is limited, had to grow on a western side of a mountain instead of the south.
Mountain Temple is a big yielding haze/chem family hybrid, using the proven male of Appalachia: h&l's hybrid of green crack and jj's tres dawg wed to the totem pole haze temple mother cut, this one hits it home for the lover of electric sativa effects with dense full resinous buds in a shorter maturation window, aromas and flavors of spicy citron and hazy melon with a funky chemdawg bottom end and floral high notes of the Williams Wonder, energizing and powerful with a light push of body enhancement. This hybrid is very similar to Silver Mountain, except this one will lean a little more to the indica side and be a bigger quicker faster yielder.
