these are 2012 stats you gave & the USA has became much more corrupt in the last 4 years,but I'll accept your stats & counter with this .

America ranking 16th least corrupt means we are now 15 times more corrupt than New Zealand,being 16th isn't a big selling point when your the largest economy & the only military superpower in the world :idea:

another fact glazed over is this,using the rankings you provided from Transparency Intnl,Americas neighbor to the south ( mexico ) ties Rawanda for corruption & graft,perfect spot for a wide open border I'd say :lol:

The stats were from 2015. America was ranked 19 in 2012, so less corrupt in the last few years.. And also, that doesnt mean we are 15x more corrupt than New Zealand, it is not a richter scale. They give scores from 1 - 100, America got a 76 and NZ an 88.

I posted that data not to defend corruption in the US but as reply to the person who said we were plumbing the depths of corruption and hoped we could survive it, which I found to be an exaggeration when compared to the almost 200 (the majority of) other countries considered to be more corrupt than the US.

I understood what your reply meant,I'm saying for america to be anything less than the #1 least corrupt country is unacceptable,being 16th is insanity.

with the email scandal,the DNC scandal,DNC assassination,and the vast pay for pay scandals Americas current ranking of 16 is sure to drop another 5-10 spots on the list when the new stats are released .
