Whats going on guys, going to be posting my current grow that i have just started. This is my second grow, i did one a few years ago in a mini fridge with cfls so im hoping this time around it will go alot better with better equipment.
For this grow i will be using:
3x3 grow tent
400w Mh/Hps with aircooled hood
6" inline fan and filter
6" duct fan for intake
2x 6" clip fans

Recirculating ventilation for tent.
Hot air out the top.
Cold air threw the bottom.
The plan is to have my window cracked a few inches to let cold air in to cool the hot air being exhausted, then being sucked back into tent.
Wondering if i have CO2 bag in tent if it would eventually recirculate back into tent or just go to waste.

Nice set up, can't wait to see it with them girls in there. From experience, co2 is mostly wasted when used in a tent. It's not a truly "sealed" environment.. but, it can still benefit you. To each his own right? Good luck, looking forward to the updates.

Nice. Only two suggestions I have for you. The plant count maybe a little much for that tent size so don't let them get too big before you flower them. And lastly, read up on using that GH organic blend with coco. I'm sure there are plenty grower's who have ran GH organic so you can know what to expect. Coco with Gh 3 part and GH flora nova works great but not sure how the organic will hold up in coco. Please don't think I'm saying its a bad fertilizer or anything, I just think there are problems that may arise for a novice grower.

Hope things hum along for you.

Ya man im planning on putting up a scrog later on, flipping lights when screen is about 75% full. So i dont plan on them getting to big. As for the nutrients ive been reading up on them and figure i will need to buy other additives down the line. My only question is if it would hurt to use organic base nutes and a additive that isnt organic...?

Not sure. I guess it depends on which additive, most likely it will be fine. My concern with the organic fert in coco is the organic fert needs time to become available for the plant to uptake and coco is constantly being watered to run off. May not be an issue but figured I'd give a heads up.

I agree that your plant count might be a bit high. 3x3 holds 4 nice sized ladies.
Also, the air intake can be passive. The intake fans could potentially pressurize the tent and leak dank air. A 6 inch fan is more than capable of pulling air in passively.
Just my $0.02

Nice set up there! Good luck with your grow too! You will struggle to do more than 4 plants in a 3x3, but just pick the best 4 females and happy days. If I was doing a scrog in that area, I'd grow 1 plant tbh, but you'll gain valuable experience growing 8 in there lol

Nice choice in lights, plants prefer metal halide for most of their lifecycle.

Like the set up. How are the temps in the apartment? Do you have your AC on all the time?

Subbed
I keep my place at about 70-72 degrees, the room usually sits at 70 with the lights off and with lights on it goes up to like 74.
Inside the tent it goes up to 76-78 at 200w mode. So the hot air is recirculating getting cooled with house hold ac.
When i put it at 400w im going to crack the window a little bit to let some cold air in sence its starting to get colder at night and thats when i run the lights

Ya the 6" does a good job in pressurizing the tent bringing air in as it exhausts, i have the intake in their tho to bring in cooler air from outside the closet, because its a few degrees higher in the closet.
Even with the intake tho theres still enough pressure inside to suck the sides of the tent in when zipped up.

I only planned on growing out 6 plants. 2 of each strain giving the smallest 707 and bubba away, but theirs 2 bubba that barely sprouted today and alot smaller then the other 6 so im thinking of just keeping all 3 707 with the 2 NL and 1 bubba unless the other 2 are able to catch up. Also im going with 6 becuase i figure 6 plants will fill a screen faster then 1 meaning i could harvest sooner, plus i wanted more then one choice to smoke from:joint:bongsmilie
