I wanna buy my heat sinks from TME. I need to figure out if they'll ship to USA.
Are you referring to the big extruded ones? ...........If so, I just wanna warn you about the weight of them. They're what I've used and while they're great for cooling, they weigh a feckin ton. I'm getting eye-bolts for mine to screw into the ceiling joists and hung with steel catinery wire.I wanna buy my heat sinks from TME. I need to figure out if they'll ship to USA.
I know ALL about how heavy heatsinks are. They're just a LOT cheaper than from heatsinkusa. Are you referring to the big extruded ones? ...........If so, I just wanna warn you about the weight of them. They're like the ones on my prototype, seriously, they're like balsa wood compared to the ones from tme. Have you checked the shipping costs to the USA yet? I think you'll be shocked, defo not gonna be cheap, that's IF they'll ship.I know ALL about how heavy heatsinks are. They're just a LOT cheaper than from heatsinkusa.

Great.noted, ill look into getting some. i can special order anything but the cost is usually a little higher if im buying one-offs
I would put at least 5 cob per driver...But probably 6 or morekeep in mind that the "b" version of the 36V constant voltage driver cant run a 1212 over 1200 mA as it tops out at a hard 36V. the 1212s have a little higher forward voltage as opposed to say a CXB which can get up to 2100 mA on the same driver
1200W+ of active 1825 lovin' ready for @Rocket Soul

>45% efficient at 225W ea - hps killer?
Are those 36" heatsinks?I know ALL about how heavy heatsinks are. They're just a LOT cheaper than from heatsinkusa.

mass is cooling, there is no fancy work around.....the pinless passive sinks, still weigh a good amount. don't shortcut.... and keep in mind numbers aka C/w for instance, are often mis-represented and need some real world data which rarely matches with a DS..... making me smoke more from time to timeThey're like the ones on my prototype, seriously, they're like balsa wood compared to the ones from tme. Yes. You know my light by now, Red.Are those 36" heatsinks?
