Got a 128 site ez cloner and used to run 6 at a time at my work. 100% rooting some as early as 5-10 days strain dependent I will say some strains hate that shit and love Rockwool or rapid rooters. If with ez cloner keep water at 71° run the clonex solution at 20ml/gal cut your clone at 45° angle from both sides to make a point then tap the white middle with your razor. Place your razor perpendicular to the stalk of clone scrape very lightly don't need a solid scrape just scuff it lightly dip in clonex gel and put in cloner. Don't turn cloner on till filled. I do this with 128 site ez cloners lol the largest u can get so its easy to do on smaller onesIf you get into growing lots of clones over the years you would do well to invest in one of the EzClone type machines. I use rooting gel to insure roots in 8 to 14 days. In the past I have gotten quality clones with no gel - Just cut them and start up the machine...
When water temps rise I put in 6 bottles of frozen water in the water tank once a day to bring water temps down. The plants respond well to that... When the temps rise too much the stems get gooey and don't root up.Got a 128 site ez cloner and used to run 6 at a time at my work. 100% rooting some as early as 5-10 days strain dependent I will say some strains hate that shit and love Rockwool or rapid rooters. Ya it's called damping. Pretty much a stem rot temps at 71° clonex solution at 20ml per gallon and run 24 hrs you'll root 100% did it for a living made my name in the industry from my cloning techniquesWhen water temps rise I put in 6 bottles of frozen water in the water tank once a day to bring water temps down. Why I use the mycos slurry and rhizotonic has trace nutes along with root stimulantI clone in coco. If something's taking too long to root, I'll often use foliar feeding just to keep them happy. I tend to go by the color of the leaves - if the leaves were yellowish or pale green when I cut them, then I watch them more closely because the clone doesn't have much nitrogen to work with to begin with. I usually start giving a clone light nutes after a week or so, because it's a safe bet that some small roots are starting to form.
What is your recipe? How do you formulate it? Because it sounds intriguing. You grow coco too, don't you?Why I use the mycos slurry and rhizotonic has trace nutes along with root stimulant
cloning is very strain dependent, some strains ive run will clone 95% success every time with just water and a rockwool cube. Other strains i will struggle to get 75% success with rooting gel, and ive cut thousands of clones.Sorry, just a simple question I had trouble finding an answer to.
People doesn't say anything about soaking cubes in nute soup. Do you only need rooting gel?
Rapid rooters won'tI've used rock wool for years but was gifted a bag of root riot cubes and was reall happy with the results, some do tend to fall apart though which is a huge drawback.
