Trump had a section of the RNC platform rewritten to make the Republican party policy dovish to the military action taken to relieve responsibility of Crimea from Ukraine. Clinton, not so much. She, along with every other nation views this action as a violation of Ukraine's borders and supports ongoing sanctions against Russia that were implemented shortly after Russia's violation of Ukraine's borders. Russia has in two other instances invaded Ukraine on other trumped up excuses.

That`s funny guy, I thought I saw military action from Russia to ensure a voting process took place that ended up happening and Ukraine lost.

Putin learned how to do that from the US example in Libya.
