Tight Dojos 1-2 both are showing purple calyxes. Camera sucks thoughView attachment 3798786 View attachment 3798787

They both smell like diesel infused grapes. Id say they are the same pheno making this particular pheno very prevalent in this particular cross. Very pleased so far. Big ups to the worm for this one.
I see your purp Lol my phone does the same way , what little purp you see in my pics isn't nothing like it looks in person lol

I'd still defoliate it a bit not go too crazy but any big fan leaf covering a bud site gone.

It helps trust me don't be scared to do it.
What skunk said evil. I do defoliate but i like to do it during the stretch and again during the last week or so. I usually just let them fall on their own or tuck them.

Or if the leaf looks really ugly and I dont want it in my picture lol

Fan leaves are the solar panels of the plant , without them the plant won't grow/flower properly , try bending them out of the way of the bud sites .
Sorry broski but I have to disagree here in a way. I am not disagreeing that they're the solar panels but when you defoliate you the larger fan leaves you allow the smaller growth to blow up and the covered bud sights now get more light.

Just one thing on defoliation.

Although I dont defoliate heavy, if i cant bend back a certain leaf i will strategically defoliate.

Through experimentation i have payed very close attention to nodes that one one side i have taken the fan leaf off and one side left it on. I noticed no difference in the growth of the bud on either side.

Also i have taken both fan leaves off a node and on the opposite symmetrical side of the plant that was topped once left the fan leaves on the node equivalent to the defoliated one just on the opposite cola. Once again no difference in growth.

But i did notice that the lower growth that now recieved direct light due to the defoliation grew in more compact well developed buds than the side left in shade from the leaves. But once again if i can i will always bend leaves away. And with this saying i will never go crazy with defoliation, just very strategically here and there

I top my plants for 6 to 8 main tops then I tie them where the lowers get more light...more or less just spreads the center open.
