I will spill the beans on the new T1 which is the only one that will be available very soon and doesn't share the same upgrade path as the others. I haven't named it yet because a series number doesn't make sense so I have to figure out a new part number that does and is informative. Maybe T1-V42 to denote the chip make and par wattage.
It came down to either increasing the efficiency or keeping the efficiency the same and increasing the output. I decided as far as the T1 is concerned a boost in output was a good idea. I will be using a Vero29 to achieve the same efficiency as the CXB3590 at 2100ma, but at 85 watts instead of 75, so 13% more light. It will initially be released in 3500K/80CRI but I may switch to another stock option at some point.
