Whatever came of this? Can he do a 4 COB version?Took this drawing in to a local metal shop to get some prices yesterday and they just called me back.think im going to have them cut 1 out of 1/4 in aluminum today.price for 1 is 104.00 but the price for 20 is only 45.00 each

i did a new drawing with 2 styles on it and im just waiting on prices now.i changed the bigger 5 cob bar to 44 inches so it will fit in a 4 x4 tent and also did a smaller 4 cob bar that will fit in a 3 x 3 tent.once i get some firm designs and prices finalized i will post more on it.i have changed the design like 4 times now lol

was real happy with that build but as a honest disclosure, it is suffering from some thermal gradient issues having a single airflow across the whole heatsink, its being adequately cooled from a single 4" but I have offered to retrofit the fans I used on the 3kw vero build or it could use a push pull external fan to achieve the same goals, it would be good data to establish the actual air flow in that system to establish a baseline to work from, the owner of that rig specified he wanted experimental and radical, I think I delivered on both but it needs dialing out of 'experimental' and into established and failsafe.
