I wouldn't recommend it. Mold becomes an issue.

Mold underwater? It's possible but no so common I thought?

I'm talking pull the root ball out of the pot, rinse it off with a hose til you got nothing but root left, then submerse it in RO water up to the stem, sealing it off from light and air further up the stem. Same answer?

hey can I use this pancake mix with the bacon grease ? or will that stress the plant . I know I can use powder sugar on them works great

Basically make a complete breakfast, blend, mix 5TBS per 1 GAL and flush your plants with it. Orange juice is optional.

Yeah, just super hot soil, and burnt plants.

More than that., It will cause salt build ups, and eventually lockout of nutrients , then deficiency's and dead

Humidity will go to the roof and u don't want that in late flower

Lol what proof do you have of excess salts in unflushed plants? Flush your soil once in a while if you're really worried. Do a little reading on plant biology, with a botanical focus, not pot forum bro-science...

Flushing is myth. Sorry. Use water every other if you want, but don't "flush".
They want you to buy more nutes.

Purple strains typically have better (or more pronounced) flavors due to chloraphyll dying off at the end. The cost is a bit less potantcy. Less chloraphyll when starting the dry and cure will always be a good thing for flavor, I would think.

that's why experienced growers stop feeding purps all N in the last 2 weeks of bud so the plant can consume what it has stored,but were on the 2nd grow here,for new growers it's best to learn how to grow healthy plants very well & become accomplished before moving into more advanced techniques.

It's getting to the end of my season and I want to remove chlorophyll from my plant to improve taste.

A close friend with more experience than I told me to cover the plants to make my plant's leaves yellow. Would this be the case?

I'm not asking if it will boost resin production. Just asking if I can increase deterioration of chlorophyll in the final days of flower by using this method?

If you're smart enough to notice when your plants don't like something, you'll never build up enough salt to have a problem. Keep it simple, don't overfertilize. That is the root of the issue.

Some guy in another thread said that if you baste the roots in Bic Mac sauce you'll end up with beefy-flavored buds.
