That's interesting. How exact does that work? Just put saran wrap between the cfl lights and plants?I use Saran Wrap to keep heat off my seedlings.
BasicIy yes.I made a frame out of popsikle sticks 3 glued together for top, 3 glued together for bottom, then 1 stick 3 inches from center on left and 1 stick 3 inches from center on right, making a frame with long sides, right and left. I then glue Saran wrap over the 5" by 6" space in the middle. I stack books on both sides the pot, lay the frame bout 2" over the seedling. Then use a double jointed desk lamp to place the bulb over Saran Wrap. Can get a 35 watt cfl close. never burnt one. Hope that makes sense. Prob. easier ways but for my 2 plant grow I'm happy. That's interesting. How exact does that work? Just put saran wrap between the cfl lights and plants?
A few inches ... Use of some type of reflector helps , as the sides of the bulb radiate the most light. What height do you recommend keep cfls at? as long the room temperature is kept low you can get them pretty close
Nice will do. Yea since I need to transplant anyways, I'm going to upgrade the soil to Organic Roots soil. I've read lot of people having good results with it in comparison to Fox Farms soils. Probably will us 5 gallon buckets as pots.1 tsp garden lime top dress and scratch into soil will help green up those leaves. I think you have some problems with your soil mix.
