You can have pretty good result with these screensDry sifting with print screens. Good idea? Looking at 196 and 158 micron screens for 45.00 total.

Just letting it dry first. Then pressing later this week. Ran it in my new boldt bag set with washer yesterdayLooking good but hard to tell unpressed
Useing your double sieve way of thought, I went and purchased some 150 silk screen.I never use a 220 micron to dry sieve I prefer 190 micron screen but you are right the dry sieve Moroccan style was done with a 220 bag and it is better than nothing. If you cam have a 160 or 120 to refine through a second sieve you would have pretty clean resin which however doesnt mean quality
It does notDid I read that you don't card when making drysift? Does your workshop include a drysift tutorial?
Moroccan style is pretty sweet and easy, 120 is a little small good for a second sieving if the first with 190 or 160 is not good enough. I personally use 190 and sieve the resin collected a second time with a 160 micronsSo a idea and questions I have for ya'lls thoughts.....
My thought is to take a ss bowl (size to be determined)
Cover with 120 silk screen
Put in dried trim
Cover with plastic and beat with garden hose like a drum to get hash.
My questions are:
Would 120 be good or start with like a 220???
( I Allready have the 120 silk screen)
And
As far as trim, can I use everything??
Branches leaves and all???
Thanks!
You want to work with material that has trichomes so you need to clean fan leaves and branchesSo a idea and questions I have for ya'lls thoughts.....

I didn't notice that you were in Berserkly. I'm in Richmond. From SJ.1996 White Widow was/is great. I am in the Bay Area, Berkeley. All the best
Your screen is a 174 μ. So, even better. For calculating micron sizes within the range relevant to cannabis extraction, divide 15,000 by the mesh number (US Standard Mesh Number). It's written up here.My screen came in. Its 86 mesh. (163 micron. I think) my first try was with some crappy old ass shake. It wasn't covered in tricomes. I moved trim around on screen gently. Then thumped with finger 5 time around screen. The remaining sift was green. The tricomes per frame were much higher. But the contaminate material. I did break up material with grinder. it has something to do with green in sift. Smoke report is ok. It works.
Thank you very much. Sifting is an adventure. Have much to learn.Your screen is a 174 μ. So, even better. For calculating micron sizes within the range relevant to cannabis extraction, divide 15,000 by the mesh number (US Standard Mesh Number). It's written up here.
You're welcome. Yes, the learning is endless. Good luck.Thank you very much. Sifting is an adventure. Have much to learn.
Followed you over here from your other thread....Looks good!
