Really, what that grow w/ like 8 ,250's slammed down on top of his plants?
That grow in no way showed what a fixture can do. If that didn't hit 1 GPW w/ all them plants then he's hurting. Maybe he's just a poor grower.
Fact remains, 2 lights being tested side by side by the same guy, same meter in the same area, is what it is.
This guy can make excuses all day to continue swimming, running, & climbing from the facts.

I be 100% honest, I couldn't give 2 shits what the results are. No offense lol. Again I'm doing a plain cob grow vs enhanced. The plain cobs are long lanky and deficient. The enhanced side is green healthy and full. The efficiency part or specs are not a concern when I see the growth and health. It could be 4 or 7% whatever the number is with the monos and 3070's vs 3590's I don't care. Successful grow after grow after grow. I am not going to over promote any company. But I really feel and actually see more and more of each day of guys adding in bars or strips ext to their grows. That's the truth, the efficiency is out the window and about as important to me as the panels color. I do think it's in the low 50's or high 40's though. No clue, same as johnsons 50w 3070's minus the leds though. Guys are out there scratching their heads wondering why plain cob yields are lower then they expected.

I'd bet my last dollar that we will see one of these referred DIY cob companies here supplement their lights within the next month. I'd bet anyone, you guys wait.

While everyone else is ecstatic to finally have verifiable proof that a light does what it says it does....the clown show dodges, and continues with the Amare puffery.

We happen to care about the extra QP we get off each fixture.
Don't worry, you'd have to be a grower to understand.

Extra qp compared to what?

You have never grown with 100% ww cob so at this point its still speculation and puffery. Your henchman seems to have deficient plants under solely ww but thats more grower error than the fault of the fixture so I'm unsure what that proves.

To be fair i've never grown with an Amare but it's impossible to trial everything thats why data is useful. If the spectrum and ppf are up to snuff then the rest is up to the grower, supplemental secret sauce be damned.

My man Smo is growing side by side. Same everything. Selling Cob lights himself. So I 100% trust his input.
Also, I have grown w/ more light types then most guys here have read about & regurgitated false info in their speculations.
Please. I grow & not just a lil bit.
There's no puffery here homie. That's why I'm publicly offering up unbiased testing between the most talked about lights here, live.

If you need someone to explain to you why an apogee isnt going to cut the mustard then i suggest doing a bit of reading in this very sub-forum. Going to have to dig through some 2014 posts to find it though....:roll:

Got the MQ-500 in the mail. If that's not good enough for you w/ a side by side & live testing then you better start learning how to grow & focus on the basics bud.

when do you expect the new sun cloak?just got my new veg room going and new flower room is almost done.just got another 16 cobs to build 4 more lights for the new room.
