back pain, suffering !!!

Keep updating. I've had sciatica for a few months... sucks. Had nasty pain, left side ...lower back, hip, left nut & all around my knee. Sent me to the ER 1 night. Couldn't get up off the floor.

It's kinda gotten better. Pains faded, I'm done taking pills. TBH, I was sick of them, started feeling like I was getting dependant on them. Knee is still numb, & I get a shooting pain now n then.

Same deal tho, construction background & heavy lifing. I fucked my lower disks. Cracked a couple n somethings pushing on the nerves. They're trying shots, but if they don't work, talking about surgery. But doc said I'm young, so if I can put it off, maybe I should. I'm 38.

Hi I have had back pain for the last 10-11 years. How it started I was bending down stepped backwards an stood up quick but as I stepped back I went under a cast iron table as I stood up fast I knocked my lower back on the edge of table l5 operated on on tramadol an everypill in the book they could give my was violently sick ( cause of pills ) hospital was a joke being rushed if a few times I think I am lucky to be here also along the way the doctors at hospital decided to diagnose me with copd no tests just asked if I smoked hmmm so now after 10 year of increadable suffering I go to pain clinic as I have neck pain for 9. Weeks I say this to doc he says nothing we can do one pain leads to another hmmm well that wasn't much help at all so I went to a chiropractor one session and neck pain was almost gone my lower back all my nearbes felt they in fire thriving and tingling all day after a few sessions it had calmed down after all these years !!! I stopped all tablets so far still got pain not so much I started going about a month ago so if u can get to a back specialist an get another opinion I had to pay an was well worth it the only medication I take is cannabis and injections at the moment stopped pain patches and other pills an am coping with the pain if I was advised to go to a chiropractor in first place 10 year ago I prob wouldn't of suffered so much or been ill will the pull s

do whatever is possible to AVOID surgery...
i had surgery at 34, and it didn't help the pain, simply "changed" it..
and then they neglected to mention that i may need another surgery in "five to ten yrs"
huh?
fuck you, mr neurosurgeon guy.
not to mention you best have good insurance...
avg cost is 50k+
depending obviously

damn bro i hope you get better... back problems are the worse type of pain problems you can get straight up. people take their back for granted until you get injured and realize without your back you cant even take a shit properly. been there... and it sucks big time. hope everything gets well a chiropractor wont help btw, try steroid injections. meds and time is what you also need, a lot of time off.

Yeah.. I don't want dope... Seems like away to fuck myself up more physically..I just want my back fixed. This shit is so frustrating. And my insurance and doctors are spinning me like a topp :shock:

Between L5-4. I have a circumfral bulg.L4-3 is a bulg and herniated sometimes..from what I'm told by the doc it pops in and out do to certain movements.. L5 through s1 is all degenerative bone deceased or stenosis.. Dr. Deyoung. Was the last doc I seen . and he told me I'm fine. Fucking quack wouldn't even look at my m.r.I.s. . I wasn't asking him for anything other then a new m.r.I. but before I left the doc he worked on me . say oh I see the problem, it's your right leg, seems like your pelvis is out of alignment too.. Let me fix that for ya. After ten minutes of not being able to do shit . he tryed saying there you go. You should be good as New in a couple days.. Lmfao..I couldn't walk for almost a week. Couldn't sit up with out help . I was in a insane amount of pain the whole time. After some days I was able to move around but walking was a bitch and still is because now instead of sciatica in my right leg and hip . now it's also on the left side as well.. Oh and to top it off . the nagging testicle pain is also still there. Thanks doc.. You Fucking quack

Oh mi.spine @pain told me I missed my appointment on the tenth.. And they don't reschedule no shows..my last appointment there was in may. They never gave me a hard date for a follow up appointment for November.. All I know I was suppose to have a follow up with a nurse but they never scheduled a time or day.. So when I asked if they could tell me the time they supposedly called my phone to remind me the receptionist said no she wasn't able to confirm the call that was made to me.. I have their number programmed so I know no call was made to me.. So she transferd me to the chrisist line ' from there Ieft a message asking how to go about getting rescheduled and left my number.. That was 12 days ago. Still no return call ..

Hey guys

Sorry for all of you suffering with a bad back.

You know....waaaaay back in the primitive times, that one, skinny, little ape decided to stand up in order to make himself look bigger than the other apes.....and, in that sense, it worked. BUT....after that, every ape wanted to do it, too. So, now, we all have evolved to standing upright. All these back injuries we suffer from are related to the fact that the evolution still isn't quite finished! ;)

Neurontin, Flexural, Vicodin, Physical Therapy....all because of a tiny, little piece of goop that got pushed into a nerve! *edit* And all because I had to stand flat-footed while reaching for the breaker box...I felt a small *click* in my back -didn't even really hurt....until a few minutes later....Started to stiffen up.....tried to ignore it....got worse...eventually emergency room and a morphine drip. Fuck.

I'm about ready to start trying to walk like an ape again!

god that's so crap I can feel ur pain hospitals are crap I have had some good doctors but some very bad ones also hope u get sorted soon I have learned to live with the pain now as no other choice yes it get me down a lot. I used to be house proud but in last 10 year I been lucky enough to be able to wipe me own arse an live like I am roughing it but that's life for me now unless this pain disappears completely which is very unlikely keep ur chin up an battle on it will get better an I missed appointments only cause the tablets an pain confused me the doctors don't think of that when your on ur own

Yes I'm thankful today.. For love and support..and I can still wipe my ass, takes lots of wipes though. Lol.. Girly style or wipe from the back .. And I'm thankful for a bad ass forum like this.. Happy thanksgiving folks and if you don't celibate it..take care & good karma for y'all
