Bro, 2 of those Suncloaks look like they're not working right you should send them to me for further testingOk folks, let the games begin!
Transplant today.

Right! That's so funny they said that. Everyone knows 1 GPW is the average cob grow from a decent grower.Hope you get to the 1.5G/W that the cob guys are at! I look forward to seeing the results
The average COB G/W is 1.2-1.4, I get about .8g/Room watt with HPS and Know people that veg for less than a month that get 1g/W with HPS/MH combos. 1.5-1.7 is what Im aiming for on my COB run this go round... but we will see how that fairs with the HPS/ DE HPS. Lets see those PPF/D numbers!Right! That's so funny they said that. Everyone knows 1 GPW is the average cob grow from a decent grower.
I can't believe Rahz even went there. It's common knowledge.
HPS averages are .58-.72, So Cobs are doing great.
Almost everyone knows vertical yields more. Combine that w/ the use of the same efficient diodes running in them Quantum boards & you have a super high yielding, efficient grow light.
It's just common-sense.
Actually hoping to do better then 1.5 this time. We'll see. I run multiple new strains & many of them don't seam to be the biggest yielders.most of the ones I have now are medium yeilders like the ones that I grew last run.
This time I have like 6 new ones I've never tried yet.
Thanks!
I like that you stay unbiased & seek the facts.
We all can see high #'s from exaggerated grows. I'm talking truths & averages.
Ppfd #'s coming soon. Lil busy transplanting, building & growing right now.
Very soon. This week. I promise.
I've hit .88 off my HPS. But notice it's not included in my averages.
Sure. Poeple can grow to much plant under a low wattage light & increase their GPW. But what's the point? To brag about GPW? Real growers want to maximize yeilds from their plants.
Problem around here is everyone's a tenter. Tenters on this led forum care more about GPW then they do about actual yields per plant.
No offense to my peepz here.
Some people in states where it is illegal to grow want to maximize gpw, because a high electric bill is suspicious. In such cases, Electricity is the limiting factor, not square footage. We all can see high #'s from exaggerated grows.

I agree.GPW is a good measure of efficiency of a light source, but I use room watt because theres more cost in there than just a light. all things the same its a good measurement tool... like PPFD
Well saidI agree.
But the facts are the facts.
When a grower/light owner that sells cob lights like GG intervenes & tells poeple they should not expect 1.5 from an above lighting source or cob light, that's because he is being truthful & does not want to mislead his customers.
Most poeple know I am not a GG fan. But I am honest & give props where they are due, no matter my opinion.
Also, where are all these 1.5+ cob grows?
A you-tuber counting stick, popcorn & wet?
Listen man. Don't get brainwashed.
It is what it is & 1 GPW averages are almost double most HPS grows.
Be happy, you're on the right track.
HPS growers sometimes go vert just to get .8-1. That's because you can easily yield 30% more off vertical.
It's not the light les that's doing it as much as it is the design of the Cloak.
Just about every documented grow using the Cloak is 2#'s. Not one on a thousand.
Ok, I'm done for today. Maybe tonight. Back to work.
It's definitely possible to do 1gpw with hps in a horizontal position. Some people are doing 3 pounds per 1150w DE light that's over 1gpw. I get 500+ grams per run under a 600w hps(theres people on the club 600 thread that are doing much better than me with their 600w hps). But i do see what you are saying, i think it's impossible to do 2gpw or above and if you did you would need long veg times. Best measurement is gram per kilowatt hour, that really shows how much weed you are getting in correlation to how much electric you are paying for.I agree.

Yeah, that guy's always telling stories. He gets a plate off his CMH's all the time supposedly. They hate led. You know why.Dave from eastcoast mentioned guys up north pulling 3lb'ers. Right after he gave me a bashing on leds. Ignorant fuck that he is.
Oh most certainly. Going to figure out how to jack it up a lil higher tom. The original plan was to transplant my 6"Potts to 5 gall. & flower the Small Kings plants under it w/ lenses cuz I know that strain likes the intensity. Are you gonna use all Pro9's power in flower?
