Right, but uneducated white folks typically vote Republican anyhow (which I find fucking hilarious). So the question is, did they show up in larger numbers than usual this year, and if so, why? Was it an economic anxiety thing, or was it the racial element?clinton's vote total as of now: 64,654,445 (there are still millions of votes left to count)
obama's 2012 vote total: 65,446,032
the data is pretty clear on what happened. uneducated, poor, rural, white people voted in droves and it was just barely enough to tip the scales in a few states.
I don't deny that a large percentage of Trump supporters are biggots, I'm just not sold yet on that being the deciding factor.
