Looking good. The pic is blurry what is that from Feminised seeds? I have one of their strains on hand for future growing myself the OG KushThe yield was on point each plant pulled at least 4oz, ended with 110 oz.
Getting rdy for next round,

Awesome good luck brother can't wait to see it. You going to continue that grow here or start a new log?30 of the "Hula Haze"
Actually these CMH 630w are fairly cool. Temps in my 4x4 are 75 degree with just two small 4" inline fans. One intake one exhaust.Just read the whole thread. Neat stuff. Since we're in the LED section, I'm curious how you think these are stacking vs LED?
Looks like you're on par with electrical savings. But you're still generating quite a bit of heat? AC running? Dehum? Any idea what PPFD you're hitting? At what cost?
Can't wait to see your g/pw.
Couple questions I can answer in your thread: myco dies fast vs chemical phosphorous exposure. You should prep good soil with myco powders. They will establish with the plants. By good soil I mean soil that will take plain water for most of its life and still feed the plant adequately. Works best in those scenarios.
For feed in your situation let me suggest Jacks. Cheap and efficient. Supplement with some cal-mag and done.
80 gallons every 3 days? wow. Thats like a 10x10 room? Dehumidifier going nuts? Are your girls trying to stay cool? I bet your transpiration would go down if you dropped temps a couple degrees. Pre-emptive check of your runoff ph might be in order with all the nutes you're using too? -Are you doing some plain water feeds in between regular feeds? Or not necessary?
Again, awesome thread! thanks for sharing!
Here in oregon its about 12c per kwh. I think hawaii is probably by far the most expensive . So hey how high do you hang your 630w cmh from canopy. I don't want to put to close and bleach the tops. I have set to abouy 20-22 inchesfirst flowering bill, View attachment 3816348
gotta be thankful for such a low $/Kw
Yeah i left the slide in plates to see how well they work. I think it helps concentrate the light spread diagnolly downward. All that space between the fixture and tops of canopy has strong light that misses all the plant tops and goes straight into the wall of the tent. I think those slide in pieces help direct that light downward towards the plants giving it less of a 90 degree spread of that makes sense. Think there more ideal in tent grows where your not needing as large of spread as open room or overlapping fixturesI had overlapping lights so I kept them around 28-30", did u put in the little slide in pieces? I took mine out, felt like it help with light spread .
I also think that those slide in plates help protect wind draft from hitting the lamps . I read they can't have any air blowing onto them or it makes them less efficient . Maybe I'm wrong lol. But for now I'm going to try and leave them inI had overlapping lights so I kept them around 28-30", did u put in the little slide in pieces? I took mine out, felt like it help with light spread .
Really?? Interesting . I could of sworn that the cmh bulbs use the heat in the lamp to produce its intensity and when air is blown onto them they cool down and lose intensity. Or am I confusing that with double endedDouble ended don't like being cooled. Cmh don't mind at all
It just will shorten the life span of lamp. Check all ur connection, lamp ballast, hood. Sometime the lamp seems it turned it but needs a little more.i know this is a shit noob question, but please read and provide input! I'm new to CMH (just got today). I inserted the light into the socket-like orifice and noticed it was a bit loose, but couldnt manage to tighten any further. I switched the light on and everythign was good for a minute or so. then it immediately went out when i was adjusting the light. I'm now thinking its not fully in the socket. Is the light fucked? I put the appropriate pins in holes. My issue is the sticker on the bulb says never turn it off within two minutes. DO I have to buy another bulb? i know im an idiot. and new to this forum.
