I don't think Hillary is a bad person. And I voted for her. But I wish we all had better choices. We're screwed now.

I don't know how anything would have changed. A lot of friends I have are black. One guy who come over to my bench and we talk a lot. Great guy and very sharp. He lives in Mason in a gated community but still has tons of family in rough areas. He escaped. He said a lot of people he knows didn't vote. Not a poll or survey but he doesn't like Bernie. Bad times. So many scared and frustrated people make bad choices.

So one black friend does not the constituency make.

I'm interested in the 'why' he doesn't like..it's usually the Socialism moniker and lack of understanding along with Media blackout is to blame..it takes a lot to understand the mechanics of our political system..day after day commit to discussion like we have here otherwise you get lost; most rely on mainstream news and that's bad.

People are often afraid of what they don't understand.

It takes a lot to understand human nature. I'm a people watcher. You can tell a person by their vehicle. And walk. But most religious blacks that I know are very anti gay. And believe conspiracy theories. Just like some whites , and everyone else who finds it easier to say it was the boogie mans fault. But look around the world and some people believe things that aren't real. It's easy. A lot hoped Trump would win because of all of the faux news so they didn't vote. A lot of whites I know in Appalachia didn't vote. No motivation. But yes socialism moniker is a lot of it. But most don't read as much you or I. They tend to pass information to each other that is not verified. It reminds me of the scene in Johnny Dangerous.

Bernie has been in politics for decade after decade of black oppression and you wonder why he isnt popular?

He is part of the system and part of the problem.

Also this black man runs an inner city prison and homeless ministry. Great guy. He talks to a lot of people. They take cookies in to prison to minister to inmates. Bad ones. Not cookies but inmates. My wife makes chocolate chip cookies to take in which are great. I asked him if he would like a little bit extra in the cookies and he laughed and said no. He said 40 years ago he would have said yes. He doesn't know I toke. But it's not a poll or survey but someone I've known 30 years and trust. He wonders if we went to the moon. The guy is an EE! He works on CNC controls. But he's a minister. Who used to date white women because in the early sixties teenagers used to beat him up because his kind wasn't allowed on the playground with white kids. You learn a lot about people in 30 years.

The above paragraph justifies why I spent so much time a few days ago asking about the validity of your claim that the primary election was stolen from Bernie by DNC collusion. We agreed that there is no way to prove this assertion and you simply believe it. You base your opinion on something that is actually very difficult to achieve -- corruptly turning 4 million votes from one candidate to another without leaving any proof that it happened. A different "Bernie was robbed" believer claims it was because media suppression but again, the facts are that Bernie's run for president was as well covered as any other. A person who so easily chooses to center their beliefs on unprovable and unlikely events is an unreliable source for an opinion.

The difference is, I don't base my conclusion on an unprovable fact. I say that Bernie was not robbed because I can't find factual evidence that he was. I weigh that with the fact that it is very difficult to sway four million voters by the kind of acts that the DNC did.

What I hear from Bernie's holdouts is that it's simply obvious that the DNC talking to the media caused four million voters to switch. And so I ask if that's the case, do you know anybody who was flipped by those actions? I don't. I wasn't, I voted for Bernie and so did you. You weren't affected.

Are feelings > than facts?
