Here they use tiered pricing; the first allotment of power is a certain price, the next is somewhat higher, etc. This way the customer is incentivised to save without such heavy handed approaches.I just got a letter from Edison saying I use more electricity than my neighbors and my bill will be going up because of that . It's unfair to judge me by what my pos broke ass neighbors use.
Tier 3 , 39 cents a kilowatt hour . I fucking hate this fucking state.
ouch thought I had it bad, iam a third of thatI just got a letter from Edison saying I use more electricity than my neighbors and my bill will be going up because of that . It's unfair to judge me by what my pos broke ass neighbors use.

We have tier 1 and 2 all so ? I have always been in tier 3 but the new BFing is because I am 400% over my neighbors so I will be paying a higher tier 3 than I used to. It was 29 cents up to 32 .Here they use tiered pricing; the first allotment of power is a certain price, the next is somewhat higher, etc. This way the customer is incentivised to save without such heavy handed approaches.

Time to invest in quantum board based LED. You'll save on running them AND on AC.We have tier 1 and 2 all so ? I have always been in tier 3 but the new BFing is because I am 400% over my neighbors so I will be paying a higher tier 3 than I used to. It was 32 cents up to 39.

I know I know . I have dabbled in reading on Leds and always thought they we're inferior and than got overwhelmed with trying to learn which ones are good and building cobs ( ? ) I gave up . I'm a plug and play guy and know shit when it comes to this stuff.Time to invest in quantum board based LED. You'll save on running them AND on AC.
@Stephenj37826 can build them for you, it's not much more costly at all.I know I know . Now we are talking . Thank you so much ty . Thank you .@Stephenj37826 can build them for you, it's not much more costly at all.
I'm not sure what your HVAC situation is but if you're running a lot these fixtures might save you as much as 2/3 vs HPS, between direct savings and reduced load on your AC.Now we are talking . Thank you so much ty . Thank you .
I like the quality part . Even In the middle of winter once the ballast are turned up to 1 k the ac runs while lights on on a medium load. Starting March it is working hard .I'm not sure what your HVAC situation is but if you're running a lot these fixtures might save you as much as 2/3 vs HPS, between direct savings and reduced load on your AC.
But the real reason you'll love them is the improvement in quality!
why not solar on the roof?.....I like the quality part . Even In the middle of winter once the ballast are turned up to 1 k the ac runs while lights on on a medium load. Starting March it is working hard .
That to but it takes so long for the investment to come backwhy not solar on the roof?.....
get a loan & make small payments.....maybe it will offset the higher rates....move you back downThat to but it takes so long for the investment to come back
An under reported benefit of covering your roof in solar panels is the energy savings due to the house being shaded beneath them.get a loan & make small payments.....maybe it will offset the higher rates....move you back down
Not to sure about that one though. When it's hot its Fing hot and solar system don't generally cover the whole roof. Heat builds in the attic shaded or not . Just my 02 after being in the roofing trade for many years. An under reported benefit of covering your roof in solar panels is the energy savings due to the house being shaded beneath them.
