I want to be self sufficient & provide as much as I can for myself. I think with a good solar system & a huge propane tank I can hold out a long time at my new place in the mountains. I hope to get up there before things start go off the rails in Jan...

I have had chickens for years....& will use the greenhouses as they will best provide what we need. Off grid homesteading is nothing new to me, I did it 40 years ago...lol

As soon as we clear escrow I will pull a bunch of equity out of the house I currently own & use the funds to outfit the new place. along with solar I want a 25k backup propane generator. Kubota is offering 5 year "0" interest loans for new tractors...free money
