Thanks!! Yeah I was gonna do the FFOF cut with black gold and perlite and lime. Is that ok? When I transplant to the 5 gal smart pot can I just tear open a new bag of FFOF and add some Bloom nutes? I'm just curious...

Can the lime help with the cal mag? Man that stuff isn't cheap I'm always having to order something. This is my third fourth grow and I'm still spending 100s on nutes. I went hydro micro at first and spent over 500 for an ounce lol....shoddy cab..then I said eff that and got the hps mh and tent. Way better man....but good lord this is an expensive hobby but I would be spending that money on the smoke anyway..might as well grow what I want

Natures O that I'm using is $12 ea. The Espoma nutes were on sale $5 ea. $7-$8 locally. Epsom salt and lime is basically cal mag in dry form and slow release. The issue is not knowing how much is in the FFOF itself not to mention if its inconsistent bag to bag or batch to batch. Mind you I'm in a 2x2 tent growing one or two plants scrog doesn't really eat up the nutes using FFOF.

Yea I was gonna say go organic I mix from the start to add to the already available nutes in the soil(Dr.Earth) they have one for veg and bloom. Just between the little Dr.Earth I add once I open bag usually last until week 2-3 sometimes depending on veg I usually let plants veg 4 weeks and I flip so usually wk 6-7 with veg&flower I’ll amend. Pour it ontop work it into top of soil and usually by 2-3 waters plants got it I also 2-3 times a week give a watering using compost tea mixed with Neptune’s organic seaweed or fish with it and plants will thank you for it just my 2 penniea
