^^^^^Look up the Pure UV T5 on the HTC website. Treat it with serious respect.
I suggest a separate circuit for UV lighting with an outside the growroom switch so shutting it off is easy and convenient.^^^^^
This. Be very careful with UV or UVB. Shut it off before you go in the room.
So im watching two grows, Napalm D, is running (4) quantum's with a
HLG 320-2800a, and captain Morgan, running same boards with
HGL 240-2100's. Im pulling the trigger on 4 quantum's in a 2×4×5, looking for input as to the right driver
The current lens is glued onno, half of those are from rahz's sale but i do need them to finish the other side of my room/shop.
what holds these lenses in place? man a one piece lense for these boards would be nice, prolly sell like hotcakes to
Some benefit matching one single q-board to one driver, voltage is not high like series connection. boards get power independent.is there any advantage to matching one single q-board to one driver? Safety, efficiency?
Driver pulls what ever the LED can take + driver losses.quick ? here. Does the led driver pull the max that it can from my ac side or just what the led's can draw.
I grabbed an hlg-185h-1400a and when i turn it to max power my killawatt meter reads 200 watts which is right for the driver but the board can only pull 116.6v *1400ma = 163.24.
so you can see why i ask
GrowMau5 did a really cool fairly recent video. I think where he side by side tested Jacks with a high end nute like and Jack's lost by like 1/8th gram or something. GrowMau5 added some reds and blues to his kick ass rig and said he did not see much with the red.I'm still on the fence with adding UV or far reds. I'm going to hold out until I get a few finished grows with just the QB's and see how things go. Honestly everything I'm seeing so far is outstanding!
High power and does not look as cheep and efficient like 561Csamsung LH351
right, spectrum charts on homepage are just for referenceI don't think the spectrum charts on the homepage are the quantum boards. Looks more like cob, you have to click on the quantum to see spectrum for current model.
Original Heatsink (side view) SLATE 1Are the heatsinks that are coming the improved model?
1 pcs of this optics comes as 3 small pieces joined together, unless they break in shipping. I just consider it as 1 pcs since that is what i select as quantity during checkout.Hello again peeps.
When getting optics for these, is it one per row of diodes? So I would need 8 per board?
Are the slate one and two "mounting" holes the same? I think that's what you are saying? So they will interchange in a build?Original Heatsink (side view) SLATE 1
1.85Kg/Meter density
100+ pcs of 'slate 1' expected to be air shipped to us next week so will stock in 10-14 days.
60+ pcs of old 'slate 1' heatsinks in sea shipment expected to arrive in 4 weeks
New Heatsink (side view) SLATE 2
2.4Kg/Meter density. Taller and serrated fins for boards running at higher power.
New heatsink will be ready in 10 days. should be in stock end of this month.

Hole patterns will be same for both as board size is same.
New 3X Board heastink using same extrusion as SLATE 1, just longer. SLATE xx
Limited samples of new heatsink . same extrusion as 'slate 1', just 3 times longer to fit 3 boards on single heatsink. 10-14 days.

See this post on page 1 for details on optics. It also cost $60 per board for optics I'd rather buy 2 boards
If it's less than $20 I'm down but it's not worth it for optics if it's more than that
Napalm D wanted lots of extra power as he will use the same lamp later in 3x3 or a 4x4.So im watching two grows, Napalm D, is running (4) quantum's with a
HLG 320-2800a, and captain Morgan, running same boards with
HGL 240-2100's. Im pulling the trigger on 4 quantum's in a 2×3x5, looking for input as to the right driver
All 8 holes are the same for mounting the COB.Are the slate one and two "mounting" holes the same? I think that's what you are saying? So they will interchange in a build?
Is the footprint the same? Outside dimensions? All 8 holes are the same for mounting the COB.
Driver mounting holes have moved as the new heastink is more wide. The holes at each of the 4 corners are not there in new high power heatsink . Those have moved onto fin as highlighted in red

Sorry, Will not as easy to interchange.
