temps in the room are 75 stable, but the top of the fridge is maybe 80, i think that the problem is the ventilation, as i kept the lid on, i got some peroxide, 6% strength what should i do now ?

Place it in ambient room temperature. 75 degrees will be perfect.

cant use subculture on seedlings. throw the rockwool out and dunk the seedlings in a mild(3-7%) peroxide solution and rinse with tap. place in new rockwool or strait into hydroton. the seedlings will get devoured by the bennies.

dont you think this will stress the new ones ? should i just drunk the rockwool in a solution made of peroxide ? and i dont want to stress the roots, and leave it without washing off ?

i have 6% concentration, will use 10 ml per 100 ml water and soak the rockwool inside, then take it out and put on paper towels to remove extra moist ? will this work ?

H2O2 works great for hydroponic root rot as long as it stays in the reservoir for only a little bit but to me it sounds risky using it on a soil based medium...because when I used H2O2 for my application I first put 2 tsp diluted in a quart of ph tested water and added it to my six gallon reservoir and it was working like a charm until I made the huge mistake of adding some over my rockwool/hydroton rock growing medium...once I did that it's like it instantly drained the plants and they went from being perfect to instantly going limp within a minute.

Soaking the rockwool in peroxide should be fine. The plants are already stressed. That style of rockwool plug makes swapping easy unless the roots are already branching. I leave it up to you.

The problem is that you will need to soak the rockwool if you do that method. Try placing it 1/4 hight in the solution in a bowl. Let it soak till the bubbling stops, then set it someplace dry. Perhaps under a light to help it dry. You don't want it to dry out. Paper towel will be fine. Just remember that you want it damp, not dry, not soaked.

This is why we use bennies as opposed to h2o2. H2o2 is lethal to plants and can break down nutrients. This is why some people use bleach in small amounts.

EDIT: well, i mean you need to chose a way to fix your plants, i still suggest tossing the rockwool and dipping the roots in peroxide.

soaked the plants again in normal water with nothing added,
placed paper towels under each rockwool, to make it drain faster, i will water with 2 or 3 drops of water when i feel its drying out(Rockwool dont usually dry out fast)

now let it sit on say your kitchen counter and don't touch it aside from watering. tap or ph adjusted water is all you want to add. you dont need anything special, though rapidstart is known so make roots explode.

So yes I usual have them tipping the net pots partially submerged.

No nutes until second pair of leaves.

I personally do 24 hour lighting until second pair of leaves then I switch to 18/6 until I feel like flowering which I do for 3-4 weeks.

I move Rockwool into system after 1-2 days after germination.

i was planning to keep them 1 or 2 more days in rockwool, just to make sure, also they are more manageable this way just in case anything happened, what you think ?

im thinking to make the rockwool dry more today
once i feel its drying out (not stone dry!) ill top feed with nutes 200 ppm total. 90 ppm nutes and my water is around 110.
wait a day more until i see the growth is getting better.
then i will start the DWC system,

I put nutes in the dwc. I also put my seeds in the rockwool and wait till they sprout. As soon as they sprout I toss them strait in the dwc. If I see that the rockwool is drying, I add plain water. Just enough to keep the rockwool moist. Once the roots reach into the hydroton, I let the dwc do the job for me.

Measure the ppm of the water you use.

Fill your rez with water to the level you plan on keeping it.

Follow the instructions on the .pdf in this post. it will be how you feed every week.

Take the measurement and make sure it is in the range of .3 to .4 EC I added a handy conversion chart to help with this part. you will need to contact the manufacturer to find the conversion.

WRONG!!

You can substitute just about any product you want. Any EWC will give you a good base of microbes. Any product or combo of products which contain mycos, bacillus, and trichoderma will do the trick. Don't worry about matching my exact ingredients. The exception is AN microbe products. Stay away from AN microbe products!

I mix mine in this. The sugars are broken down in 24 hours. It is food for breeding.


Sorry, I get irritated when I have to repeat myself. The microbes is something I feel I have had to keep repeating myself on over and over. Read his whole thread. He tells you everything you need to know.

You will need to make a tea with the recharge too. Otherwise, you will burn through that expensive tub in a couple grows. Whereas my tubs of subculture (75g) may last me a couple years.

what type of molasses should i use ? as there is molasses made from different ingredients, some made of pomegranate some made out of other fruits. i have brown sugar will it work instead ?
