Try to stay organic.what type of molasses should i use ? as there is molasses made from different ingredients, some made of pomegranate some made out of other fruits. i have brown sugar will it work instead ?
i am setting up the DWC now, trying to get the best water i can put my hands on.also will start to brew my tea, everything looks good, thanks to you, and im really sorry to bother you always with my questions, again you are the best.
I am simply helping him get started. I have a super basic concept of his gear. This conversation is actually three threads. No offense to these guys on here but im seeing a lot of bad advice...... if you want VRZ hmu in a PM ill give you a guide with a what if section. I also would like to see what u are working with in terms of nutes and etc.
i am brewing the tea 1/2 tsp each B,M also 1 tsp molasses to 0.5 gallon, i guess it will be strong tea.Make a tea based on the Heisenberg method. (Google Heisenberg tea) using your subculture. Refrigerate and save it for when the roots hit the water. Only add it before then if you find root issues. Add only one half to one cup directly to the res. It will last a couple weeks in the fridge.
H2o2 should NEVER be mixed with nutes. I found that out the hard way. I had a bunch of lockouts because of it.
EDIT: It is a waste to add subculture directly to anything. Use the Heisenberg method in a seperate sealable container and make sure you drop in an airstone or you will waste the bennies.
With subculture, I use 1/4 teaspoon of each. The purpose of this method is to make the microbes breed.
That the mini lights a out of there. You don't need them.i am brewing the tea 1/2 tsp each B,M also 1 tsp molasses to 0.5 gallon, i guess it will be strong tea.

and the water starting PPM was 90, after i added 1 tsp each of flora series into 8 gallons of water, my total PPM was 210, PH is 5.7 water temps 65 and trying to keep it this way, it goes to 70 sometimes, room temp is 76, i guess the plants like their new home, they seem happy with the setup, HID is 30 inch away

the mini light will be a tree of light later on each node will have 4 big lights, and btw electricity bill is paid by employer, so ill keep 24/7 entire grow as im growing Autos. That the mini lights a out of there. You don't need them.
thats a good advise, i covered it on , and kept place for ventilation, when should i add it ? after 24 hours ? or 48 ? as u know the setup im having has no bennies nor H2o2,i make a half gallon with one tbsp of molasses and a 1/4 tsp each of M&B. in the end, so long as it does the job it will be fine.
it should be either or with the hps. once full veg starts, then add booster lights.the mini light will be a tree of light later on each node will have 4 big lights, and btw electricity bill is paid by employer, so ill keep 24/7 entire grow as im growing Autos.

Initially, add about 1 cup to your res for every gallon of water, and then add 1 cup total every 3 days after. If you can, pour a little over the base of the stalk to inoculate the root crown. Your water might get a little cloudy but your roots will stay white and stimulated. When you use tea and practice proper res maintenance you can feel confident your roots will be healthy. By multiplying the microbes this way your products should last a great deal longer. Once you have eradicated slime and simply want protection from future outbreaks, adjust the tea dosage to 1 cup per 10 gallons about once per week.
humidity here is 57% do you think i need that?another option is to take a 2 liter soda/water bottle and cut the top off at the widest and highest point and place it over the plants to increase humidity.
That's up to you. 50-70% is where I understand we want it.humidity here is 57% do you think i need that?
today my tea is done, PH the day before yesterday was 5.7, yesterdday it was 5.9 and today 6.1, when i add the tea in it got to 5.7, (where it should be). everything looks alright thanks to you man.
when u think the roots will start to come out the netpos ? i just cant wait
when you first add it, it will fluctuate for a couple days. it does this because there is basically a war going on in the res. the bennies are converting the nutes into an easier to process solution (your ppm should be jumping around a bit too) and will do this to plain tap water too. when the microbes die off some, it will stop.PH was 6.4 a.i have added 4 cups of tea on my 8 gallon, the PH dropped to 5.8 after 2 hours, 2 hours more it was 5.4 i balanced to 5.9 after another 2 hours it got 5.3 i balanced again now, i dont have PH UP so i removed 1 gallon off the water and used fresh water at 7.5 PH 150 PPM, now its 5.8, what can i use as PH Up(house hold stuff)? thats whats reported for sub culture to do, PH fluctuations, is this normal? any ways the plants look good. PPM is at 210, hope the tea will do its magic to promote the growth. i just report everything happens as i dont know what normal whats not, this is my first time.
then i guess all is fine, thank you for your explanation, then ill just go slow on the tea usage, also maybe i can use it as PH down, if i calculated the right amounts.what will be left is a colony living in the root ball.(this is what you want) this is why i dont add them till i have a root ball.
