It says it will seek stronger enforcement of federal laws where state laws conflict with federal laws. Federal law is stipulated in ACA which says weed is sched 1 with no vaild uses and high potential for abuse. It is antiquated and they're planning a fucking crackdown.

the problem here in Oregon is they ( the olcc) have been intagrating the REC and the MED side,, ,the law that was passed stated the 2 side were to remain seperated,, but the state has been merging them,, and doing so fast,,,, the problem now is going to be this,, if trump and his boys crack down on rec,,, the state of oregon will have to try and pull the 2 rec and med sides back apart i guess,, and then,, are the med states only allowed to give cards to the terminally ill,,, thats also a big change

People were a little trigger happy to get into the rec game while it's federally illegal IMO. It's one thing if your bank is huge and you have a diverse portfolio. But people put their whole lives into this thinking state law was going to be enough...

You folks really are living in a bubble. Sessions has said exactly what he intends to do. Trump is fine with it. Sessions and the DOJ won't give a hoot what impact it will have on state economies. Get over your ability to vote; they don't care what CO or CA does; they didn't vote for trump anyway.
They (the exec branch) can't just overturn state law (congress will help with that though), but they can aggressively pursue federal law. So what could they do? Shut down every seed bank overnight. Shut down every grow facility overnight. Shut down every rec dispensary overnight.
They can drive it so far underground you will be buying joints from meth dealers.
Think about it. Just about every grower in legal states has surfaced and can be found. Heck, most of them have youtube channels now.
Can you stealth grow? Sure, but it will be easier than ever to find you. And state police will be very happy to help the DEA.
