I've got a creek and a spring on the property and the people in the area seem pretty normal maybe a bit conservative. Best part it's cheap and when I retire I don't want to pay out my ass for everything like here in Alaska and it's relatively close to everything, unlike my current residence.

I suppose it all depends on where you live. I hear there are parts of WA that totally blow but where I live now is awesome. I've got three lakes and two rivers within 10 miles of my house -- and then there's the ocean...
Did you know that the headquarters of Bass Pro Shops is in Springfield, but you've gotta drive a couple of hours to find any decent bass fishing. Weird.
The Branson area isn't bad, but there's a shitload of tourists. It's where old country singers go to die...
Kimberling City is mostly a retirement community but it's beautiful in the spring & fall.
I hope you like ticks and chiggers because you are probably going to experience them like you never have before. Ever had so many ticks on you that it was impossible to count them all? Oh yeah, been there, done that -- multiple times. Walk by a bush where they hatched and the little fuckers will jump on you.
I'm just blabbing now. The wake & bake hit me hard... :eyesmoke:

No i think the words i was looking for were 3 months doof. You guys need to stop bringing up my past. I hardly even smoke weed these days im actualy doing quite well

I honestly have never been bitten by ticks or chiggers or have gotten poison Ivy on me. I am skilled at applying DEET though, but I'm not sure how well it works on ticks and chiggers.
I also have a sick fantasy of growing some weed outdoors there but the laws are crazy there and I hear they actively fly around looking for it.
