...Roger that! Them suckers fight! pun intended. Landed one in the 15# range, and another pushing 20#... both on a 3/4 oz. Daredevle while pike fishing! Never knew they were aggressive like that. I had a MONSTER hooked up... I'll post vid of it after I grab it from the cloud and throw it on youtube. All you could see under the 5# of weeds was the forehead pretty much... bc of the weeds it got away. I would have put her back anyway...

Found it... Took a kid along fishing my fave river to haunt. Great Pike, Bass (smallies...BIG smallies ; )... and great BIG Carp! Don't like hooking up with them but the fight can be awesome, esp. if they are behaving like predators!
As stated in last post, this one got away cause of those weeds and you get a one frame flash of her side and can clearly see her top-down from the forehead along the boat...kinda embarrassed to put it up lol sound like I'm tryin' to poop! WTF, here ya go...(let me know if it's set to private, tried to get it but new to Youtube...)

Lol I thought we were the only one's that did that. Fuckers always screaming by. I was fortunate enough to grow up on one of the coolest lake spots in MN. A peninsula with acreage, Surrounded by 3 lakes, spring fed river,sandbar deepest drop off right off our dock. We just had a 30' camper but who cares with that property. I have lake stories for days but back on point, we had one those water balloon slingshots tied between two trees off the point. Dad built a little boat house out of some cool old hand chiseled ashlar coarse field stone with a patio up top. He was going to buy a old military cannon to ring some shots at the jet skiers. Jokingly of course. Think that property has sky rocketed in value, still no house but is for sale listed over million now. Fraction of what dad paid... All that said jet skis are pretty fun though. Get some gnarly white caps on the lake and catch a few feet of air. Never had one but friend has a fast two seater with a turbo on it. Can pull tubes, ski, knee board behind it

I had the worst camping experience ever this past weekend.We were prepared for the cold snap but there were 20mph winds with 40mph gusts .....it sucked.It was cold ,windy,fish weren't biting...ants were....i mean it sucked.
I have to go camping again this weekend just to prove to my son that camping is fun!

Me and snakes don't get along...or snakes and me
Water moccasins in particular....had one follow me while fishing, it wouldnt leave me be.
Had one crawl in the boat with me and my cousin.
Had one in the toilet at the fish house(trailer home).
Had one in the truck.
Caught a 4 footer fishing on the bottom with a plastic crawfish!
It seems if theres a snake around, i find it!

i let it go back . i kill the rattle snakes there thou, killed one a summer or 2 back, had a squrill in its belly, i did eat the rattler passed on the squrill.
had a friend get bite by a baby water moccasin last summer while frogging in a crawfish pond
he almost lost his leg...and its ugly and mostly bone now.

That's my fear with snakes, poison.. if the wrong one bites you then it's game over.. idk venomous or not except the obvious so I put them all in the same category.. snake..
