the choice of the voters was hillary, by 4 million votes. 12%.
Not in the nomination.

Again, failure to listen to the concerns of constituents will relegate the Democratic Party to perpetual runner up status.

They lost EVERYWHERE. Your attitude is a large part of the explanation.

You fail to listen.

Sounds like a landslide!

But it wasn't. It was a 3 million vote lead that didn't win, not exactly the 'will of the people'.

If you guys want to blame everything on the Democrats infighting, feel free.

That doesn't line up with the facts.

And the Trump base could care fucking less whether it was 'crooked Hillary' or 'communist Bernie'. That's a joke to say Bernie would have won. Trump may be an idiot, but so is his low information base.

And nobody answered the simple question of who would better serve your interests.

An establishment Democrat or any republican?

Like Koppel said to Hannity, 'You're very good at what you do.'

And all this pathetic infighting leading into last November helped the Hannitys of the country to the single most freakish upset in modern history.

Enjoy.

When I said the Democrats lost everywhere, I meant in the White House, the Senate, Congress, Governorships and state legislatures.

So maybe circular firing squad tactics aren't the way forward.

I voted for Bernie because he represented what I want to see in my government. At what point will Democrats understand that, instead of trying to tell me what I should want and who I should vote for?

The Republicans won because they listened to their base.

The Democrats lost because they didn't.

Talking about democratic primary?..there was no infighting.

What there was, were lies, cheats and conspiracy against an opponent in a political contest. She effectively took on Sanders' role by the time he threw in the towel..she WAS everything Sanders by thievery right down to his platform.

The one thing she wasn't, couldn't do no matter how hard she tried..was BE Sanders.

And that's WHO the voters wanted.

You can put lipstick on a pig..

When will you understand that it was the overwhelming majority of people who nominated Clinton? (12% in a 2 person race is HUGE)

If you can just accept that then everyone can move forward.

The only pig last November was the lying pig who got elected.

Period.

With, by the way, 46.1% of the vote.

It seems silly to me that Bernie supporters are so flabbergasted the DNC had Hilary as their favourite.

Hillary clinton - lifetime Democrat, followed party lines, team player, raised money for the campaigns of other democratic politicians.

Bernie Sanders - lifetime independent. Spoke out against the Democratic Party numerous times, ran for democratic nominee still as an independent.

Why would the Democratic Party favour Bernie over Hillary? If he ran to be a representative of independents, that makes sense. But he ran to be the representative of a party that he wasn't even Fully a part of.

I don't know why people keep saying Hilary stole the nomination from Bernie. Because she was the favourite from the established democrats? No fucking shit.

Do you even live here?

Living in a country v. following it from afar are two different things.

Would I know Aussie life and political better than you? Of course not.

Is cheating allowed in Australia?.. why do you think Americans should tolerate cheating?

He caucuses (votes) Democratic and the dems welcome that vote with open arms.

Tough shit he leveraged funds (if any) from the DNC.

Anyone can announce as a dem, anytime they wish.

Do you know how much money his grassroots raised? No sucking Wall St. cock like Hilly.

Yeah, and congress has around a 15% approval rating BUT, everybody seems super loyal to their local elected officials which is why they're reelected over and over again.

Congress sucks but my guy isn't the reason'

So did I. But he didn't win. He lost 58% to 42% in moderate Pa. So when somebody says Bernie would have beat Trump in Pa., I simply ask, how?

Bernie voted 90%+ with Hillary. He endorsed Hillary also.

The Republicans won because they listened to their base.

The Democrats lost because they didn't.
The republicans won in a freakish fluke upset with less votes.

The real reason Democrats didn't win is because they thought Wisconsin and Michigan were cinched and didn't campaign there. Hindsight is always 20-20 though. Too late now.

I gave my opinion on the matter. You disagree. Not a big deal.

There is a way to disagree without being rude about it though.

You do know this is debate, right..what offends you in my post?
The fact that you think I'm not entitled to an opinion because I don't live in your country.

of course I don't know the will of the people of America, nor did I ever claim to. I just expressed my opinion that the "shock factor" expressed by some that the DNC favoured Hillary over Bernie is not shocking to me at all.
