Just wanted to give you guys a look at that LED Cob. I showed you guys earlier in the post. Not trying to hijack. But if you guys are interested or something I might be able to get them super cheap through where I work. Our house is completely dark.and no reflector. And half of it shining straight into my dresser. I have it just laying there.

I have some worm castings already. Also bat guano. I may use the worm castings on the Cindy's later in the grow, but not the auto's.

The auto's soil is too HOT, for some auto's. I will probably switch to bio bizz lite mix from now on. £14 for all mix, £10 for lite mix, but I do actually wonder if that £4 extra spent, is actually even beneficial? All mix is ec 2.4, lite mix is ec 1.2.

I do like all mix, especially for photoperiod seeds, but would have more trainwrecks in the grow, if I didn't fry them on day 1 with hot soil.

Not to worry, as I've replaced any lost plants + have more waiting.

The grow is really shaping up nicely!

Still daily, I'm having to fight with my inner self, to stop buying more tents! I just need to wait a short while. In 5-6 weeks from now, these auto's will look very different. I will resist the urge to set more grows up!

The summer is on the way in the UK, well hopefully anyway... When it gets here, I will find growing so damn easy with these low temps.

It's just nice now how it is. A lot of work at feed times, but it's quiet and my living area is liveable for a change

Blimburn Cindys, just under 1 month old. 250w of cob, 4ft x 4ft area. Vegging on half power is doing great! Pisses all over a 250w hps that would barely cover a 3ft x 3ft tent, let alone a 4ft x 4ft tent with ease...

I just sense this is going to be a good journal. Got the boring part of the grow out of the way already, so you didn't miss much. Half my journal so far, I was having a break.

Nothing against hps. I've used hps and liked the results. A 250w hps draws 'at least' 270w, so draws more than this led on half power (250w). It's covering a 4ft x 4ft area too. Just saying that I find the led far better per watt, for vegging so far. Cheaper to run and covers a bigger area.

Cobs are very good I just can't afford the initial outlay for them especially the ones you have so I'll happily stick with my 315 for now. If I was lucky enough to stumble across some free ones I'd without doubt make the switch.

I used 2 x 250w kits last grow, a 400w, 600w + 1000w, plus 4 cmh units + several blurple leds, so using so little electricity for me is such a nice change. That's what I meant by the comparison of 250w of cob to a 250w hps.

I'm now running 6 set ups on 990w total. I'm just buzzing about saving so much. But yeah the initial outlay was a lot.

2 of the 4 Brothers Grimm C99 clones have rooted. I suspect the other 2 will be showing tmrw. They look happy, so have probably started rooting too. They took just 8 days, 6ft away from the cobs, with no rooting gel or powders, just stabbing them straight into root riot cubes.

I'll get them in to pots real soon.

I'm going to start vegging them early. I'll remove the stunted trainwrecks and plant them in their pots.

Used to do a small 7000 wattage set up , thank food the electricity was free.
Couldn't cob that out cheap were I is. Lol.
Retired before Christmas.
Now I'm just social, domestic and Pleasure I can afford to buy , run and experiment with the latest technology.
Hps is great as is cmh , although I haven't used cmh I've seen some great grows .
I love my diy cobs lol

Picked up some new small pots today. Going to transplant the ak47's.

Take more C'99 clones too. The clones that took yesterday taught me a harsh lesson. Literally took of the plastic cups for like 4-5 hours, all 4 clones dried out and dead looking, even the 2 that rooted. So put them in to fresh soil, with a heavy watering. Will see them later to see if they come round. So I take it I need to wean them off the cups slowly then... Anyway I'm taking more clones later on. Got little pots for that too.

I just don't think I can be fuck*d to grow out that coco plant. I'm going to clone it, then cull it tonight. Use it's tent as a veg tent for the ak's + Delicious Candy seedling + C'99's.

I'll put the coco pipe dream grow on hold again for another time. lol

I have no idea. I grow with my lights far away all the way through the grow, so I'm not the best person to ask.

Yeah they'll bleach if too close to the tops

The coco plant is gone. Took 14 clones from that C'99, got the other 4 in soil, still unsure if they're dead or alive.

Ak47's in bigger pots, under a 90w blurple led.

Side branches on the auto's starting to get going. The tent's floor will be gone in a few more days I hope.
