We agree on a lot of things but you have a faulty memory.

This country did pretty well compared to presidents on either end of his term. Some people don't know when they have it good.

The country hated Carter for suggesting that people put a sweater on if they feel energy bills were too high. It was good advice and taken about as well as a six year old who is told he can't have another chocolate sundae. The country has gone downhill ever since. I blame spoiled baby boomers for all that has gone wrong since then. Fucking spoiled brats have always gotten their way, beginning with ownership of the TV to watch Mickey Mouse Club to today where they want their archaic factory jobs, tax cuts and balanced budget all at once. Except they are willing to forego the balanced budget and push a tax hike on the yet unborn. Not to mention a global environment in shambles.

Mostly white, mostly affluent, mostly Christian, mostly right leaning fucking baby boomers. Trump did very well in this group, I might add.
