personal favorite of my own is- thinly sliced turkey on toasted bread, with a layer of mayonaise on each side of the bread and sharp cheddar (orange) thinly sliced, coupled with lettuce and tomatoes ( thinly sliced as well). this basic recipe can be adapted into other varations such as subituting cheddar of yarlesbourgh(?) or parmesian or a combination.

im from new orleans, so of course the best damn sandwich has to be the POBOY. Personally i love the crawfish, shrimp, or turkey po boys. Keep in mind, many "poboys" are available but none of them are comparable the originals unless they are on french bread.

tip- sandshich shops in new orleans area-
magazine po boys
napoleon house (grench quarter) get a breshuetta(sp?) -stoned sorry

triangle way? oh man you can go the extra mile and make FOUR triangles. now that's an exciting sandwich.

and the cool whip sounds good, but still throw on the jelly.

Nutella ! I forgot about that stuff...... I used to just sit there and eat whole jars of it. Nummerz. ... Reminds me of the center of those Ferero Rocher chocolates..

All of these sandwiches sound scrumptious except the PB and Miracle Whip .. I seriously almost gagged reading that.
So does Seamaiden. Y'all just don't know what you're missing. ;) :D

Took her 3 years with me before she tried Bread and Butter pickles and now she loves'em.

my fav!!! the italian bmt at subway is usually good. not exactly a sandwich by usa standards, but a burger with jalapeno cheese, bacon, lettuce, and tomato, made on a broiler.. the best by far.

if I can get my seeds to grow, I'll have fresh hydroponic tomatoes to put on sandwiches in a few months. but I don't think the seeds I have are ripe.. I'll keep trying. tonight, it's tuna on white :D
