that's the history of Portland. I don't think it is the story now. Agree that Portland and Oregon is pretty white compared to most of the country.

A June 10 march in Portland, one of two protests Mayor Ted Wheeler wanted stopped, has been called off, an organizer said Wednesday in an online statement.
Scott Ryan Presler blamed Wheeler for the cancellation. Wheeler had asked that protests on June 4 and 10 be canceled in light of the slayings on the train.

"Due to Mayor Wheeler's inflammatory comments and what we feel is an incitement of violence, he has shamefully endangered every scheduled participant," Presler wrote on Facebook. "Consequently, in order to ensure the safety of those who had planned on attending, we have taken the decision to cancel the Portland March Against Sharia Muslims."

the radicalization of whites is a serious problem in this country and needs to be stopped. last time we saw whites get this radicalized, a world war broke out and it left 60 million people dead.

we can see radicalized whites all over this forum as well. they like to surf child porn and repeat alt-right radicalizing phrases. we saw what happened to our dear flaming pie, who has been completely brainwashed and radicalized.

The June 4 rally (rallies) are on. A Neo-nazi white supremacist convict gang is going to hold a rally adjacent to a "Portland Stands United Against Hate" rally. This just days after a white supremacist murdered two men and hospitalized another who were protecting teenage girls from him. I don't expect a lot of billing and cooing between the two crowds.

This is a really bad idea but the alt right's permit is supported by feds, so, it's up to the community to show up and rebuke hate speech.

Police promise to be there in numbers too:
The agency said to expect a heavy police presence “due to online threats of violence between different groups.” Officials advised participants not to bring weapons or items that could be used as weapons to any of the events.

“Prohibited items may be seized by police and, if in violation of city, state or federal law, the possessor may be arrested and charged criminally,” the Portland Police Bureau said in its statement released Thursday.

This had better mean the alt knight, has to put away his shield and club, maybe even remove his boots if he insists on wearing shin guards. Otherwise the city police will be shown have a bigger problem within the force if he's let in armed and nobody else is.

We've known for a while that hard core Bernie Sanders supporters can be unhinged.

But really, Stroker, isn't it time to make peace with the hatred you carry? Two people were killed and another just barely survived when a white supremacist was prevented from attacking two teenage girls by male bystanders. You make it out to be a joke. It wouldn't be funny to you if somebody close to you had been the one standing up against that hater. Why is it funny if a stranger takes it in the neck. Shit is getting real.

I wanted to make a point. I feel bad for all people who get assaulted. I'm not a monster i'm nice person.Just some of the folks on this site bring out the worst of me.
