Man, that really sucks. It seems that the dam is inadequate, need a long canal instead. No doubt that option cost too much so they built a dam and hope it is mostly adequate. I hope the road does not get so immersed that you get stranded.

Do you own a boat? Maybe you could put the plants in the boat and float your grow for a while. Sorry, maybe that is too outlandish coming from my stoned brain.

there are many dams and weirs up stream for 100's of km...it all flows here...they are all maxed out...its lowland life I suppose...no boat big enough...I do have a canoe to use if its bad enough that I need to float beer in tho....;)

8" thick dock styrofoam blocks at 16" on center ...I bet you could keep a 16' x 32 ' wood deck floating.....stranger shit has happened....
after the flood you have a new deck....lol

Okanagan Lake is rising 1-3 cm per day...thats 80billion litres of water per cm...this lake is about 35 miles upstream from us...still snow on Baldy Mtn to melt...all the local creeks are breaching their banks...the officials say rising water until at least June 10...my 60th birthday...looks like no party for me...grrrrr
