democrats won the popular vote and gained seats in the house and senate.
every single candidate bernie has endorsed has lost, and even in the general election the people he endorsed performed worse than hillary did.
maybe try to stack up a few wins before claiming you have the winning formula, idiot.
Oh so now I'm an idiot for not following the party line. THAT'S convincing.
Gained seats in the house? Still the minority.
Senate? Yep, under 50%.
State legislatures? Ummmm, no.
Governors? Nope.
...and don't forget who's sitting in the Oval Office!
Quit splitting hairs already.
Progressive candidates already sit in the House. Those who lost their races in special elections;
A. Ran in deeply red States
B. Received very little help from the Democratic Party, and what did come was too late to do any good
C. STILL came a lot closer to victory than anyone anticipated.
The Democratic Party, based on the evidence of their own behavior, is doing their best to discredit anyone to their left, even when such people are the most popular sitting politicians in the country.
It's hurting their credibility and their chances going forward. They COULD be riding the Progressive Movement that the Chump has created in response to his odious policies, but instead they're doing everything they can to discredit it.
Seems a wee bit suspicious to me, until one factors in how much corporate money is coming in. Suddenly it makes perfect sense.
