That just sounds miserable. We are starting week three of daily rain here. It looks like there will be at least one more week of it. There has been some sun, but damn little.
At 1820 it's partly cloudy, 77F with 93% humidity. Forecast high/low is 86/73F with 90% chance of rain. We have had .7" since midnight here in town, but the storm we had at the house this afternoon was at least an inch.
I don't mind it myself. It's just that my plants need some sunshine or they are not going to do very good. I did cover them with plastic this afternoon, so the rain isn't falling on them, but unless the sun shines soon, I'll be popping more seeds. That just sounds miserable.
I heard on NPR they were having to cancel flights into and out of Phoenix because of the heat. Thin air is even thinner at 120F.108 here today 11% humidity looks like i have to shade my plants tomorrow
is this weather typical this time of year for you?I don't mind it myself. It's just that my plants need some sunshine or they are not going to do very good. I did cover them with plastic this afternoon, so the rain isn't falling on them, but unless the sun shines soon, I'll be popping more seeds.
It hit 101 here today, in northern Colorado, 2 days before summer solstice. 15 degrees warmer than the forecast, whoops!I heard on NPR they were having to cancel flights into and out of Phoenix because of the heat. Thin air is even thinner at 120F.

No. It's early this year. I guess it's warmer water in the Gulf. There is a little pre-tropical something or the other trying to spin up down there now. Our rainy season is usually during the Dog Days. {late July through early September} Some years it will rain everyday for 25-30 days, then other years we don't have a real rainy season at all.is this weather typical this time of year for you?

The a/c in the work truck broke today and I backed over a metal spike with the bucket truck and blew out the sidewall.
