course this isn't for everyone but if you sell stuff at retail or a hunting/gun club, this site sells and auctions gov't surplus in true bulk. they have depots all over the US and sell everything imaginable from the G. When they first offered M9 bayonets, one lot of 25 went for $150 and I see them offered now retail for $80 and up, used.

I want an M1A. Dream weapon, even one with a classic walnut stock. Just a picatinny rail for sights and one for a bipod, that's all I need.
 
We're naming our daughter Maeve, because I'm Irish and Native American. Maeve means "one who intoxicates" and has connection to Queen Medb of Connacht and Queen Mab the Faerie Queen from Shakespeare. We didn't realize that Maeve also comes from Old Irish transliteration of the Anglican word "mead" which is obviously a honey wine. I like it, she's like "I DIDN'T NAME HER AFTER ALCOHOL!"

Hell yeah dude, i like your style. I understand that m1a's arenot that practical for modern warfare too.

I have a standard (loaded match) m1a too. Walnut stock :hump: took the match trigger assembly out and put it into the 16.

You put a picatiinny on a standard m1a and you can't use striper clips though :-(

Here in CA we can only have 10rd mags, so striper slips are cool imo
