well the stems, but i know i need to put them in a dark and ventilated place, so im putting it in my sliding closet, but when they mean ventilated, does that need to be a cool dark ventilated place? because my room doesn't have a fan and its kinda humid... can someone tell me some ideas where to put them?

It doesn't need to be dark, just dim. Maybe drape a sheet across the closet doorway instead of closing the doors? A dark sheet? This would allow the closet to breathe?

yeah thats true! but is it okay if the air is slightly humid? or would that make them moldy? these are my first plants (smells like dro with little crystals EVERYWHERE...) and i dont wanna mess my babies up...

My dry room humidity hovers around 60 per cent Rh.
Do you have a weak little fan you could put on the closet floor, on LO? Just don't let it actually blow on the hanging stuff.

As long as you check on your harvest a couple of times a day, which I'm guessing you already are, you shouldn't have any mold issues. Remember, you can almost always smell mold before you can see it. I've never grown any mold.

The longer it takes, the better the cure. Try and keep the closet as cool as reasonable.

okay yep i've got a little fan, i'll just stick it in there, but not directly on it, thats what i did when i grew them, not directly on it, but it made the stalk thick as hell. so yeah

Great! With the fan circulating the air, you may be able to close the doors? Temp/heat would be the deciding factor. Obviously you'd want the air in the top (warmer) to have a way out, if possible.

Ain't nuttin' like your first genuine homegrown buzz. Enjoy and conrats. Been too long since I've been there, but there's also something to be said for "fresh" crop new bud buzz. Always a thrill.
Grow On!

once the nugs start to feel dry, tehy arent really completely dry. Once the stems snap than you know for sure they are completely dry....where Im at its pretty dry, so just hanging them drys them out to quick and it doesnt taste as good....so I usually hang dry them for a couple days until the nugs feel dry, then throw them in big paper bags, lightly rolled up at the top, to complete the drying at a slower rate. I flipp the nugs over once a day in the bag, and leave them them until the stems snap...then when thats done you throw them in canning jars, making sure to open the jars a couple minutes a day to get air in there and move the nugs around...after a couple weeks of this they taste much better

oh yeah i just cut them today i was only going to keep them in for 2 or 3 days, then i was going to put them in jars, and let them out a couple minutes a day just to get the air. lol but you have to put them in baggies before the jars?
