My first choice would be this

SPYDRx PLUS
PPF: 1410 µmol/s
Power consumption (watts): 660 typical
PPFD: (μmol/m2/s): 909 avg | 1022 max | 664 min

SPYDRx PLUS is a full-cycle top-lighting solution for commercial horticulture cultivation, with the power to scale from vegetative growth to bloom. For optimal results, we recommend SPYDRx PLUS deployed in environments with CO2 supplementation between 800-1400 ppm in reproductive growth stage due to high PPFD levels.

at $1,500 a pop its a serious investment!

I will have 2 rooms
one veg and one flower

i hope to harvest every 8-10 week with this set up. until i get a 3rd room (2nd flower room) to harvest every month.

I will build the veg room first but this is just about the led lights so dont let me get side tracked!

I plan on having growing 4 types of buds

the Veg room is 9ft 9 inch x 10ft 4 inch

I hope to have 4 of the 4ftx4ft trays with 8-12 plants per tray

i will have a light rail 5.0 set up for each room for the lights

in the veg room i will have 4 lights and one light rail 5,0 set up to move the 4 lights by itself

It will move 2 lights down a line over 2 of the 4x4 and another 2 lights down a line over the other 2 4x4s

i live in an area that gets over 90 degree often and these leds look amazing

any feed back or offers / ideas on differ products please inform me

I ordered a "2000w" off amazon for $270 but I got it for $200 on a lightening deal. It hasn't arrived yet but it surprisingly had fantastic reviews. For the price I had to get one to see if it holds up. it's by BESTVA

For 1500$ it doesn't seem like you are getting much light if you are right about this only outputting 1410 umols/s, a single DE hps produces 2100 umol/s and cost 500$ or less.

Local growers in my area are buying these Spyders @ the grow store & are beyond satisfied w/ the results. One guy reported 2.6 #'s off one SpyderX Plus the other day when I was there.

Once again the best DE fixture puts out ~1850 umols...... I posted true lab tests and you still refuse to admit it. Seriously the DeVa is a great DE and it's 1865.... Seriously do some research before passing along false information.

Thats reasonable for either 700W of LED or 1000W of HPS. $1500 is steep tho

2 off either of those is very rare.
1500 for the Spyder isn't bad IMO. Sure beats what they wanted for a burple BML & it's bigger & better.
I'd buy one. Would be perfect for my low ceilings.

i have used HID before. i had amazing results. that was a while ago. since then i have moved and let go all of my stuff.
i have some outdoor going and there doing amazing.
i want to move stuff indoors and start to get decent results.

at the moment i have a few problems.

The rooms do have central a.c connected but i was hoping for more of a closed room. the central a.c is crap anyways and we never use it.

It gets 90-100+ more and more often it seems. i do not think HID lights would be good.

imo

Environment > Lights..

What i will need to focus on is getting 2x a.c units for each room or buying a new central a.c unit
i want to keep the room at 82-84 with 900ppm for the veg room
i want to keep the flow room in first 2 weeks 82 and move down 1 degree every week. move 900ppm up to 1500ppm by end of flower
the last 2 weeks i will drop the temps at night to high 60s and down to low 60s this will help the buds harden up and show any purples
running HID and with the outside temps i dont think i can do this...

my biggest concern is i only have a 100amp service at this location. i may need a service upgrade and that could set this whole thing back a year

so i think LED is gonna be my choice for this location

Heat isn't based on what type of light you are using, it's based off how many watts you use, 600w of LEDs produce the same heat load as 600w of HID lights, 1 watt = 3.41 BTU.

So if I put 10k umol on my website it makes it true lol?????? Sphere tests are true but sorry you can't accept the truth.

That's the bulb again not the fixture. Notice it says 1000 watts.... Everybody knows a Gavita uses 1040.....

SPYDRx PLUS can replace 1 hid 1000 watt . that is 340 watt less heat per light

so the hid would be the reason it so hot

maybe im wrong but this model is the new version of the model tested in this video

Yea i understand that but you are also getting a lot less light than a 1kw hps, 1450 umol/s is about what a 750 DE gavita produces.

Gavita Pro 6/750W EL DE FLEX

Lamp base: K12 x 30S
Growlight (PPF): 1450
Light maintenance 5000 hours >96%

That video is a joke, the DE fixture is tested at 3 feet and the LED is tested at 12 inches or less. If you put that light meter 12 inches from the DE fixture it will read much higher than the LED ever would.
