Why do people make this so complicated? Ordinary gardening wire and just poke it through the fabric.

What wire are you talking about. I like twist ties but that'd be a Bitch to push through. Is there some standard gauge gardening wire I'm not aware of in my hemisphere? lol To each his own , but yeah, we need to make sure we're not over engineering simple shit. All ideas are appreciated, but my vote is some oversized Safety Pins...Done!

Garden wire - I get like a 50 foot roll for about 5 bucks or so at my local garden supply store. Soft and bendable but stiff enough for training - that's what its made for.

People can make anything complicated..............I've been using the Velcro method since I saw @GreenSanta do it 4 yrs ago. Can be reused almost indefinitely(I've consumed 4ft of the roll since 2013), no damage to pricey fabric pots, readjusted at whim, not affected by high RH(rust),etc.......

I got the 660 nm chips, I mounted one in a housing, soldered it...but it flickers.

Took the 10w out of this and replaced with 660

I always atleast make sure that they both function b4 installing. Ik that the 100w plug n play lights u have run 85v to 240v.
Is that light you have pictured from a 10w plug and play also? Could be running your new 660 10w chip at plug and play voltage 85v to 240v when that 660 chip should only be using 6-7 volts.

Yes i believ so. Well you could use an old plug and run that plug thru the housing to the chip. That housing is probably 100v to 240v with an output of 12v. Might be able to attach both 660 chips to the one plug and both should work if both are 6v 2would make 12v
