Why do people make this so complicated? Ordinary gardening wire and just poke it through the fabric.
What wire are you talking about. I like twist ties but that'd be a Bitch to push through. Is there some standard gauge gardening wire I'm not aware of in my hemisphere? lol To each his own , but yeah, we need to make sure we're not over engineering simple shit. All ideas are appreciated, but my vote is some oversized Safety Pins...Done!

Garden wire - I get like a 50 foot roll for about 5 bucks or so at my local garden supply store. Soft and bendable but stiff enough for training - that's what its made for.

People can make anything complicated:)..............I've been using the Velcro method since I saw @GreenSanta do it 4 yrs ago. Can be reused almost indefinitely(I've consumed 4ft of the roll since 2013), no damage to pricey fabric pots, readjusted at whim, not affected by high RH(rust),etc.......
