I wouldn't trim those leaves until she gets the chop. You can trim it dry or wet, if you have trouble with humidity being low I'd trim the dry, if you have high humidity I'd trim them wet.
If you have access to Everclear and a kitchen you can make a tincture from them to puff on in a vaporizer. Alternatively, you can also make some astounding edibles as well.

It's in the basement so humidity wants to be high but I plan on having my room turn into a dry/cure room with dedicated dehumidifier to keep it justbright

Aim for I think what 65% with lots of air flow to dry then jar it at 55% burping for a week?

Rosin is great shit.
I've tried it and wow!
The CBD rosin tastes like what a dentist office smells like, and my back loves the relaxing ability of CBD.
On the other hand, I've tried some that has been decarboxylated and mixed into PG/VG for a vaporizer and oh yea.. stealth puff on the go.
The only problem with rosin is most dispensaries keep the bid to make edibles instead of giving it to you.
As much as I like the idea of medical and recreational grass, the investing tyrants are spinning the industry in the direction of cocaine and heroin.
I wouldn't doubt that most business are owned by people who don't smoke and operated by those that do.
That's why homegrown is so important, no black mold, a better selection, better drying and curing. I still have yet to find bud at a dispensary that can compete with what I and some friends have done.

60% RH across the board is what I aim for, take your time here. It should take about a month to dry and cure, the longer your cure the more THCA is converted into THC and the CBD with turn to CBN.
You can do this with trim in an oven set to 210-240° F, any higher and you vaporize good things, it will take longer on the lower temperatures.

Yea that's where I really plan to shine in comparison to my local buddy. He chops and hangs under his ac vent to speed dry! Ugh! I want to make it a long nice slow proccess to lock in that flavor and smell!

My version of speed dry would be setting on the dehumidifier vent cut off the stem. At least what I was figuring. No pictures tonight argument with the misses. Girls made it unscathed though. I was able to at least give them each a gallon of normal cal mag ph balanced water as i didn't have time to add all the nutrients and check ppms and why not. I know they are always ok with a little bit of that. Everything was still stable but nothing super noticeable tonight, it's funny they seem to go in little spurts. Makes

I kinda wanted to stay away from the wax because of that reason, but i tried some in a vape
Pen and if was pretty nice. So i figure if I can make it with stuff I made I'm cool with it. And don't have to pay their crazy prices. It's looking like I'll have plenty to try all kinds of things lol. I'm not selling I just got sick of my unreliable buddy killing plants and growing shitty ones some times. Having to ration weed and shit. No I want to smoke and medicate as needed how needed by something I grew straight beginning to finish.

Believe it or not my buddy grows mostly to sell...lol. Me personally I do a mix of recreational as well as medical. I substitute weed for a lot of anxiety medication..... If it was up to my dr I'd be taking 4mg of Xanax daily. While that kills the anxiety that makes me a zombie. Weed is about damn near equally effective at cutting my anxiety with out the Alzheimer's associated with it and also being able to be much higher functioning. Now aside from that I love video games and movies and nothing enhances that hobby like a nice toke!

And every time I talk to my buddy I realize how little knowledge he has and how every time it's really a crap shoot for him.....I was advising him to make the same change of nutrient that I will as the brand he got me into is more nitrogen heavy then you want through flower. His reply yea I agree at the end my fan leaves turn yellow and fall off. Lol sigh.....I guess I won't argue as long as he listens lol.
