What brand grow tent?

I'm getting a 3x3 tent for starters and I was going to go with gorilla but I have people telling me it's a waste of money buying their tents. Can anyone recommend a good company that makes a 3x3 tent? I'm not sure what brands are trusted by users. I thought gorilla was the best.

I have 2 Gorilla
1 is 2.5x2.5 lite
The other is 4x2 and it has the extension which I like because I like to grow sativas.
It saved me when a few stretched to over 5 feet tall.
I am sure they all work I guess it is also budget dependent.IMG_4601.jpg

HTGSupply. Everyone bitches about them for some reason, but for the price, compared to others, they are nice. Just need to run a bar of soap on the zippers every now and then or they stick a little. I'm 200lbs+ and can hang from the roof supports because it's all metal framed. I paid right around $200 for a 4.5x4.5. Couldn't beat the price for what I got.

I have a 3x3 and 4x4 from Apollo.

They're cheap, have a lot of ducting ports, and have worked out really well for me.

Thanks guys! I will look in to all of those mentioned.

I like the gorilla because you can extend the height. The budget isn't an issue. I just want something of quality. I was worried when I was told that gorilla is overpriced and not worth the money. That's why I'm having second thoughts about it.

Gorilla tents are fantastic tents, great zippers, height extensions, lots of oversized ports, and super durable.
Apollo is about a third of the cost, uses the exact same poles and corners as far as I can tell(even using the same little blue stickers with the same letters on them). But it will have minor light leak on the corners, so you have to tape that up if its in a bright room, the 6" ports are exactly 6" so getting vents in and out is a pain, and the zippers will wear out after a couple years.
Personally, i just use apollo now, and will replace them as needed, but I certainly don't regret the gorilla 4x4 purchase.

Gorilla's really are the best. If you don't mind spending the extra dough, go gorilla. Also if you need to keep everything contained to the tent, go gorilla. I've used 3 different budget tents, vivosun, Mars and Apollo, they all have pinhole leaks around the zippers. Mars and Apollo both had weak zippers and flimsy poles. I've heard secret Jardin is good too, but have no experience with those.

If you need to save money, vivosun makes the best budget tent out of the 3 I've tried. Still get those pinhole leaks which isn't a big deal, but they zipper and pole quality is better.

Money is not an issue. The fact the zippers are problematic in most other tents and there are light leaks that need to be covered with tape says all I need to hear. I'm def going with gorilla. Thanks.

well when you are talking 'needs' vs. 'looks' both are cars.. the question for the vehicle would have been what brand car to get to work? thats like saying the camaro wouldn't work some people say so you feel more comfortable buying the lambo. why would i buy a lambo to get to work when i have a much more cost effective way that works well? each to their own though i don't go buy the most expensive thing just to rule out personal experience

Minor pinhole light leaks around the zippers is an over hyped issue. As long as the leaks are there from the beginning, the plants are acclimated to it. It's when leaks they aren't accustomed to happen after they are already into flowering that causes issues. It takes a certain intensity of light, over a set period of time to interrupt flowering. If the light leaks are that bad, the tents probably falling apart.

It's why outdoor plants don't go all screwy because of the moon, or street lights that have always been around, they are acclimated to it.

Most major light leaks are around vents, and ports that have wiring/ plumbing/ etc. running through them.
