Wow, they asked most of them... LolA survey of 1,039 Wyoming voters in 2011 showed 69% overall support for the idea that the President of the United States should be the candidate who receives the most popular votes in all 50 states.
Seriously, Wyoming has yet to break 600,000 population. If they'd rather have the popular vote then it's probably to everyone's advantage.
Having looked it up recently, my own state of Colorado is more or less equally represented either way due to our midpack position in state population rankings.
