I had decided to cut some of the small branches off of the bottom of my biggest plant. I couldn't bring myself to throw them away so I'm trying to turn them into clones. So far so good but because the mother plant was about a week into flowering I was worried that they might flower as well so I put them inside under a big CFL on 18/6.It depends on the strain and the pheno type , I have a pheno that if I take cutting from after it has been in flower for 6-7 days and isn't showing sex , the cutting root fine but they are pushing toward flowering once they come out of the clone tent even if the light is on 18 per day. They will revert but that takes energy and is a stress. Some plants don't do this. I say go for it and you will learn what your plant likes and if the clones look like they have switched over you can still revert back but you know for next time
Ok maybe one of u guys can help me. My 3 plants all have leaves turning yellow on them only the largest fan leaves and some smaller ones on the bottom inside. I thought it was a deficiency but people are telling me they are transporting mobile nutrients to the new growth, and that I should foliar feed with epsome salts. I did once so far right before dark at 1/4-1/2 teaspoon per gallon but I would like to know how often I should do this.
