If lumens supposedly don't add up, then why add more lights?... just try to get the one good one?... right?
well i got 6 cfl's above this plant and 6 around it with 1100 lumens, the only way i can think why more lights is beneficial to the plant is, down to the plant getting those 1100 lumens in places where it wouldn't get them normaly, like under a fan leaf, if the lights are placed arround it evenly, i don't think my lumens are enough to flower mine and get good results but its what ive got, so we will see how it goes
it's easy, they;re wrong.. but when people tell me that the lumens don't add up... I don't get it -_-

Haha, good luck with it all.Yea, i know what ur saying as i have 2x6 socket power strips on two different timers and 1 of em always goes off a few mins before the other and the room does get darker, spose its all about using the lumens right and bouncing em the best you can, oh i looked into lsting but aint brave enough to try it on my first plant, witn it being a bit stretched, but will def use this with my new plants as i can afford to make a mistake or two, as i need the room i threw the two smallest in the big room on veg, they got 1 cfl above each of em real close, if you look in my previous pic you can just see em. Cant wait till there all in flowering mode as this will make my life alot easier, and give my missus her kitchen back
