Holding off for a minute. I just discovered there is a 73" 4x8 tent available at growers house. Plant house brand. Even has 600d fabric.

I may transfer things to a tent Grow in my basement (with low beams) and re claim my spare rooms in my little house.

Then I could insulate and figure a good heating plan. I can do a propane heater and pipe it into my main tank with some time.

In the mean time I slowed down for the summer and am re stocking the perpetual.

And check out this elegant lady Evil. She is a CH9 Aroma x Blue Lemon Thai. It's his best genetics from years ago crossed with his best newer ones.

It has sensei seeds old ed Rosenthals super bud worked on the aroma side and original g-13 and East Coast Sour Diesel and Lemon Thai from Mota on the BLT side.

That's her front left above.

Sure. I have a bunch of interesting testers going or about to be germinated.

My breeder friend in Spain is moving and asked me to test some stuff he sells in Europe. Critical Mass and White Widow bred for the bulk seeds market. Ch9 and others have moved from pack focus to 10k or more seeds at a time.

I guess to seed banks and commercial growers.

I also got feminized Critical mass that Shantibaba feminized himself from his plants. I am to compare these to the other cm seeds.

And finally he gifted me his long time stored Herijuana Fems that he uses for breeding. Man I hope they are viable. They would be worked from original Woodhorse Seeds Heri. The plant Motarebel has.

The tent at growers house is $230 approximately. There shipping quote online says over $200 freight for shipping so I called for a quote. It's $300 delivered from Arizona to Michigan.

I'm pretty sure I can stuff the 2 blockbusters with 600 super hps and the 315 LEC reflector in the middle in the 4x8.

But you are going with the 600 blue in between the 2 hps now right?

I really really like that combo. The quality I got matched the cmh quality for sure.

The joint I just smoked grown only with hps did not have quite the resin content staining the paper as my previous stuff flowered under the combo with the cmh or blue.

But the effect seems as potent to me. Andnit was sure frosty. I just read reports that the cmh yielded about 1 percent higher thc than hps alone in a professional room.

I think the 4200 bulb might do better with the higher uv included.

Since you got me posting on your thread now here is a Medical Seeds sour diesel I just harvested flowered under hps alone. No mh.

Pretty frosty and smelled up my whole house but I think the Hortilux blue and the Phillips 3100 k cmh help the resin production noticeably. And the colors. My room went all green from having some purple leaves and buds when I went back to super hps alone. But the buds are forming better and the leaf ratio is back down too. All the blue light makes leafy looser buds for sure.

My findings are the same as the university of Michigan and Utah. Strong red peak with enough blue only for plant health and some help with compactness is perfect for our cultivar.

To grow leafy greens more blue light would help with foliage production but we grow buds. :-)

Ah ok cool thanks for the tent info. The Agromax one I was looking at I found it locally. Will just go that route it's cheaper and quicker in my hands lol.

Yeah it's cheaper for me to throw in the third 600 in a smaller hood between the two raptors than go with a 315. So I want to see how the Blue MH will work in a daystar hood in between two of the Super HPS in the Raptors. :hump:

Plants look fantastic man I'm excited for the first run in the new setup hopefully by the end of this upcoming weekend it's all up and running and I can move some of the girls around.

Thanks very much. that Diesel and the next plant had bad mag/ potassium/ calcium deficiency that I believe was caused by my oversight. My well water with the lack of rain this summer has dropped from 150 ppm to 100 and I did not compensate with more fertilizer and by the time I realized it I had typical climbing deficiency over the whole plant under the pair of hps lamps.

But I nursed her mostly back to health. I got my shit back together now. I think after 3 years of perpetual growing I might need a vacation. Or a day off even. Lol.

I will be tuned in to see the new setup. I think if you can manage the heat and nutrient load you will have fantastic results.

Maybe even "bout a pound". ;-)

I might go get the tent today we will see how it goes. Want to get the photo's into the 20 gallon pots and get them adjusted to the soil before flipping the lights on them. I'm excited to see what the mix spectrum does and to see how the raptors work. :bigjoint:

In my short time growing one thing I have learned is as growers we never have "enough" space LOL..........we could always use a little more, or one more tent, etc etc.............I'm excited to see what these GG#4 do under the HID's in the soil..................been a while since I have had some big girls :hump:
